Dinner With Friends

When the time came Amelia dressed in a beautiful blue dress with a pair of black hight heels. She carried a matching blue bag. Her hair in lose curls and a fringe. 

"Steve!" She calls slowly and carefully walking down the stairs.

He stood at the bottom holding a red rose.

"You look beautiful" he smiled holding her hand and helping her down the last step.

"Thank you. You look very dashing" she smiled back.

He wore a black suit with a bow tie. He looled like James Bond, 007. He kissed her hand before there was a knock on the door. It was Maisie and George they had someone behind them but she couldn't see.

"Hey are you ready?" Maisie asked.

"Yes" she smiled looking up to Steve then back at Maisie.

"Great lets go then."

When they arrived the restaurant was very posh. People dressed smartly. Even people speaking posh. Steve helped Amelia to her seat and tucked it in. George did the same for Maisie.

"Wow this place is beautiful" Amelia said looking around.

The ceiling had chandeliers hanging down. Also with gold carvings. Red carpet. White table cloths.

"The food here is delicious" George said sitting next to Maisie holding her hand on the table. Next to him was another chair.

"Is someone else coming?" Amelia asked.

"Yes my friend Josh"

Amelia's face dropped. She has had a crush on him for ages.

"You don't mind do you?" Maisie asked.

"Sure. I don't mind, not at all" she shot a glance at Maisie.

"Good" she smiled picking up the menu and scanning it.

They were half way through when Amelia looked up to see Josh looking at her. She placed her knife and fork down placing her hands under her chin. Josh smiled and placed down his knife and fork coping Amelia.

"So Steve what do you do for a living?"

"I'm work for S.H.I.E.L.D."

"What's S.H.I.E.L.D?"

"It specialise in strange encounters."

"Like aliens?"

"Thor"

"Thor?" Josh says in disbelief.

"Yes Thor, Hulk, Iron Man, Black Widow, Hawkeye and Captain America."

"You've meet Captain America?" Amelia's jaw dropped.

"Yes I've meet them all. Even Thor's evil brother, Loki" he looks to Amelia holding into her hand.

She removes her hand an trys to change the conversation, "so Josh, George how is your boyband doing?"

"We are planning on going on the X Factor" George says excitement in his voice.

"I know you will do great" Maisie smiled kissing George.

"So what do you do Amelia?" Josh asked.

"I am a photographer."

"The pictures she takes are beautiful" Steve smiled.

He was interrupted by his phone going off.

"Sorry I have to go" he frowned, "is that okay?"

"Yeah sure" Amelia smiled.

Steve kissed her cheek before leaving. She watched him leave and as she did she saw Loki and a man with a metal arm. She shook it off and carried on walking to her friends.

"He seems nice."

"He is its just recently something happened and he is a little paranoid."

"Okay so where would you like to go now?" Maisie asked.

"Sorry I'm gonna go home I'm tired and I need to see if Steve is okay."

"It's okay. I'm a little tired too" Maisie said getting up and walking to the desk to pay.

"See you again" Amelia handed Maisie her money for her food.

"Text me later and let me" she handed back the money.

"Thank you. It was lovely. Thanks for inviting us and sorry about Steve."

"It's fine he seems like a busy man."

When Amelia got home she collapsed onto the bed. She picked up her phone and tryed to call Steve.

"Amelia?"

"Steve" she smiled.

"Is everything okay?" He asked a little worried.

"Yes I'm fine. I was just wondering if you were okay. You left a little quick" she laughed.

"Oh its nothing?"

"Steve?"

"I have something I need to show you."

"What?"

"I'm just around the.." he paused.

"Steve? Are you okay?"

"Loki."

Her heart started to race. then the line went dead. She threw down her phone as the door flug open. In came a man with a metal arm carrying a gun. Behind was Loki.

"You have something that belongs to me" he simply said.

"What do you mean?" He spun her around to the mirror. Her eyes glew blue.

"I would like it back."

Then out of nowhere a speare appeared in his hand. Placing it to her heart her eyes turned back to there normal hazel colour.

"You have grest powers Amelia" he whispered, "powers that don't belong to a weak mortal like you."

4he speare disappeared as he let her go.

"Kill her" he said to the other man.

He wore some sort of mask. Cover his entire face. He aimed the gun at her. Amelia stood frozen not knowing what to do.
