The No-one

Mistake

As we packed our books up and I congratulated myself for another day of thousands times more social interaction than the rest of the last 2 weeks. Noah was so extrovert and happy it was just a bit too much. We had nearly fished our project but we had till July to finish it on the last day of school before the summer holidays we have to perform it; that means two weeks of being slightly less socially awkward was a go... "I'm walking to my grandparents house today so if you want we can walk together."
Again with the usual smile. "Sure."
I couldn't really say no it was more of a command and we started walking. Noah started talking about grades and planes and all sorts while I took in the scenery around me. The trees swayed left to right accompanied by the blue sky the odd cloud or two was in sight but otherwise all clear. "Oh look Noah I wouldn't expect you to snoop that low to Lynnette some pity right?"
I glanced up to see two boys who were in my history and English class; I had a feeling this would end badly so I kept walking. "I'm not snooping at all or pitting her?"
Noah straighten his back and look at the boys. One of them had a leather jacket about 5"12 foot and the other was about 6 foot with Noah being 5"10 he seemed a bit.... shrimpy...

"Oh yeah? You have a better chance with someone more like... Jack?"
Noah rolled his eyes and tried to carry on walking but the other boy stopped him. "Look Callum" He referred to the one in the jacket  "and Liam I have better things to do than talk to you."
Noah seemed like he was getting tense. "Aw Noah you seem so scary what are you honestly going to do write a mean essay about me or you could tell your dad... oh wait!"
Now Noah was mad his hands were clenched. "Go away..."
Noah mumbled with his head down. "Don't go Noah we were just getting started."
And before I had a chance to run from them Callum punched Noah in the face. Noah tripped back and nearly falling he instantly put his hands over his face. Liam barged past me to get to Noah knocking me down into the wall with full force I hit my head on the brick wall stayed in the floor. I wanted to run but I couldn't I was stuck... I wish I didn't speak to Noah he was just trouble. Noah looked at Callum before getting another push with a punch from Liam leading to him getting knocked out. I was on my own Callum and Liam looked at me in unison I was scared... no terrified.
