Me and Noah finished the project and got both top grades in the class. Everything was great he came round my apartment afterwards and we just talked. We did that quite a lot now and from a non-talkative person's view I found the conversation... interesting in the best light. It has been about a week after we finished the project and me and Noah had no reason to talk to each other anymore. But we still did. I guess having a friend was nice I didn't expect someone I used hated so much to be my only friend.. sad right? But when wasn't that me. I read the last page of my book before putting down I was about to go and make some dinner but I hear a knock on the door. Noah, or a murder? Should I open the door... I opened the door to see a soaked Noah standing in front of me. "Did you know it was raining?"

Noah was dripping in my hallway now with his bag pack and shoes off but still soaked. "I brought some spare clothes just in case of this happening."
"Why on earth you think this would happen?"
"I don't know a feeling... maybe-"
"Maybe you unconsciously saw the weather report?"
"Oh yeah that's understandable."
Awkward silence filters it's way into the conversation as always. And this time I actually broke it! "You can use my shower."
"Thanks Lynnette i promise i won't use all your hot water!"
And with a smile he stood there getting his bag. I wasn't sure why he was still standing there. "Are you going to go then?"
"I would but I don't know where it is."
"Oh..."
I pointed in the direction the bathroom was in and he was off.
"Wait Noah."
"Yeah?"
"I'm making dinner do you want some?"
"Really? I would love some."
