december 18, düsseldorf, germany
Adriane stood outside the Düsseldorf airport, waiting for Julian to pick her up. She had just finished a 14 hour travel day, and the last thing she wanted to do was stand around and wait, but of course Julian was late. Eventually a black Range Rover pulled up, and who stepped out surprised her.
"Kai?" She exclaimed. "What are you doing here?"
"Picking you up. What else?" He grinned as he gave her a kiss on the cheek and they hugged.
"Well yeah, but where's Julian? He didn't tell me anything." She furrowed her brow. Julian wasn't one to switch things up without telling anyone, unless he was planning something.
"Well, Jules actually not here. He's on a flight back from Hannover right now." Kai stated. "He texted me asking if I could pick you up, guess he forgot to clue you in." Kai shrugged, taking her suitcase and putting it in the trunk.
"Yeah." She mumbled, climbing into the passenger seat.

"You've got a key?" Kai asked as they pulled up to Julian's apartment.
"Yeah, I know where he hides one. See ya Kai." She opened the car door and started to get out.
"Nah let me walk you up! I'll carry you suitcase, I'm like your chauffer." He scurried out of the car and grabbed her suitcase from the back before she could even protest.
"Alright." She smiled lightly, and the two started walking up to his building. Kai seemed sort of antsy, but she blew it off. She found Julian's hidden key and unlocked the door. As she pushed it open and took a step in, about 20 people jumped up from behind the furniture and yelled.
"Surprise!" Julian emerged from the bunch, followed by Leon, Max Meyer, Julian Weigl, Julian Draxler, Marco, Mario, and two of her old friends from the US Weston Mckennie and Christian Pulisic.
"Oh my god!" She blinked, still in shock.
"Welcome back to Germany liebe!" Draxler grinned, being the first one to hug her.
"Uh you too? Shouldn't you be in Paris?" She asked, but he simply responded with a shrug.
"Did we scare you!" Leon and Max asked, approaching her together.
"Uh- Yeah, I'm still processing." She chuckled, hugging them both.
"We're just happy to have you back home." Julian grinned.

The party continued on through the night, and Adriane was happy to be back with her old friends who she used to spend every summer with in Germany. She was chatting with Draxler when Leon walked up.
"So, you and Dele Alli? How'd that happen." He teased.
"Oh yeah!" Draxler grinned. "What do they say? Spill the tea."
She rolled her eyes at them. "Honestly I don't even know. We've been talking for what, 4 months but that's it." She shrugged.
"4 months? That's a loooong time for nothing to happen A." Leon stated.
"Yeah no shit Leon." She responded. "It's got me a little stressed, honestly."
"Stressed?" Draxler asked.
"Yeah, I mean I don't know if we're just talking for fun or if he actually wants something out of it like I do." She shrugged. "I guess I'll find out soon."
"Why do you say that?" Draxler raised an eyebrow.
"Ohhhh you're going to London aren't you." Leon grinned.
"In a few weeks, yeah." I nodded. "Fingers crosses he hasn't been messing with me for the last few months."
"That's a long time to just mess with someone Adri. I'm sure it will be great." Drax assured, and Leon nodded.
"Thanks guys." I grinned, happy to have the assurance of my friends.
