Chapter 6

I finally got to my room, I opened the door & I saw Hazel sitting on the floor next to Hayley. Hayley had her head on moms shoulder, mom had her eyes close like she was enjoying the moment. Hazel opened her eyes and she realize that I was standing there staring at them.

"Oh look Emily finally came back", Hazel smiled. "Hey what took you so long?", Hayley said in a low voice. "Uhh, mom dad is waiting for you down stairs", I said. "Oh!", Hazel said.

Mom got and left my room. Hayley looked up to look at me, her eyes were still red & puffy. I sat on my bed & starting explaining this to her.

"The reason I took long, was because Gus & I went to your house to talk to your dad and..."

"WHAT!?!? IS GUS OKAY? DID YOU KNOW THAT MY FATHER IS CRAZY? WELL HE IS !!!", she took a breath so she can calm down, "Why do you have those sports bags?", Hayley asked.

"Okay when I went to the kitchen to go get some snacks I didn't want you to go back home with those horrible parents if yours, so I kinda convince Hazel on letting you live here", I said. Hayley looked surprise,"Did yo.."

"So Gus & I decided to go to your parents house and tell your horrible parents that you are going to be living with us", I took a breath,"While Gus was talking to your father I ran to your room and packed up everything you had inside these two sports bags", I interrupted.

"So you father started calling you horrible things and Gus hour furious so he punch you dad in the face & knocked him out", I finally said. Hayley's eyes widened, and all of the sudden she started laughing.

"That's what that bastard deserves!!", said Hayley. I smiled at Hayley and said, " Welcome Home!! sister".

"Aww you did everything for me", Hayley smiled. "Well you are going to be sleeping with me tonight because tomorrow we are going to be working on you moving in here", I said. "Gus & Hazel.."

"Why do you call you parents from there first name?", ask Hayley. "Because they are not... my real parents", I finally said.

"Wait what? then who are they? are you adopted?", ask Hayley. "Hazel is my moms best friend, my father was an abuser, he would hit my mother and now he is in jail for a life time, the reason my mother is not here with me is because she is insane & she went to go find help, and I haven't hear from her for 2 years now", I said in a low voice.

"I am sorry", said Hayley and she have me a hug this time. "So let's start the movie & start eating the delicious cookies", I said.

While we were watching Starving Games, we laughed a couple of times. It made me happy that she was laughing & having a great time, and I guess she had forgotten what happened earlier.

It was 1 am and I found Hayley sleep next to me on the bed. I got up turned off the TV & picked up the plate of chips and the cup. I went down stairs and I heard Hazel talking. "Gus, I can't believe you punched that man in the face, what if he come after you", said Hazel.

"Then I'll call the police, because he has no right of kicking out his 14 year old daughter, for no reason", said Gus. I went to the kitchen to dump all the trash that was left in my room.

The Next day..

*Ring Ring* My alarm clock went off. "Uhh what time is it", said Hayley. "It's 7 so now get up lazy butt", I said. Hayley just put the pillow on too if her face & went back to sleep. I started jumping on my bed and started telling TIME TO WAKE UP HAYLEY!!!!

Hayley got my leg and dropped me off of my bed. "Ow, what was that for", said. Hayley started laughing. "Hey can I take a quick shower?", asked Hayley. "Uh yeah ", I said.

While Hayley was taking a shower, I fix up my bed. I put on a button up shirt, with a fancy black skirt, and converse. I didn't have a chance to shower today, like i do every other day. So I put tied my hair in a messy bun.

"Do you mind", said Hayley. I ran to the bathroom, to go brush my teeth. Once I came out of bathroom, Hayley was straightening her hair. She stand up and she was wearing light blue jeans, a Pierce the Veil t shirt& her high top converse.

"Goodmorning", we both said. "Well mom we are running late at school it was already 7:50 bye", I said as I was pulling Hayley out the door. "Hold on", said Hayley, she crossed the street and right in front of her house she grabbed her skateboard.

We arrived school, and I saw Nathan standing there were the bike rack was. All I could do was smile and start bushing. As I got closer he realize me, and he smiled, "Hey gorgeous." Which made me blush even more.

"Are you guys are like a thing?", ask Hayley. "Maybe", Nathan said with a smirk on his face. As I finish locking my bike, Nathan hugged me. "eww", said Hayley in a low voice.

"EMILY!!! HELP!! EMILY!!"
