It had been a few months since I'd left motionless in white. Now, I'd been focusing all of time, or the majority of it anyway into my oddities shop, The Strange and Unusual.

My fiancé and I had recently split, and it definitely made things awkward considering she owned half the shop.

Thankfully though, she didn't have time to stop by all that much.

At least once or twice a day I'd get fans that would stop by. Wanting pictures and or autographs. It's kind of funny. I thought for sure once I was out of the band, that would stop. It doesn't.

I don't mind though. Those are the people that helped me live my dream for so long. The ones that supported me and still support me to this day. The least I can do is sign something or lose for a picture.

The worst thing about not being in the band anymore, other than the fans is not seeing the fellas everyday.

Those guys were my best friends. My brothers. We hardly talk anymore let alone get the chance to hang out.

I just couldn't do it anymore. That's the thing people don't get though. They think if you're in a successful band, you shouldn't have any problems at all. Right? Wrong.

They forget when you're in the spotlight, it's hard to have any kind of normal life. Everything you do is on display for the world to see.

It just started getting to me and no matter what I did, the feeling wouldn't go away.

The guys were all really supportive when I told them. I know they hated it, but they let me know they were behind me 100%.

It had been awhile since I'd talked to any of them, and I was starting to miss them. I'd called Chris a few thousand times, but his phone always went straight to voicemail.

I'd called Ricky, he never answered. Neither did Ryan or Devin. I knew they'd been busy lately, but I didn't think they were too busy to talk to me.

I pushed the thoughts out of my mind and focused on my work.

Someone had called me and said they had a couple of specimens they wanted me to take a look at. I agreed and told them to meet me at the shop at 10:00 am.

I looked at my clock and sighed. 9:50 am. They would be here at any time now. I walked back to the window, looking out at the kids across from me.

Everyday without fail there were 15-20 kids right next door. If I'd come outside, they'd yell and cheer. When I went back inside, they seemed to be watching my every move.

It was a bit creepy to tell you the truth.

I looked up when I saw a car pulling into the parking lot. This must be the people. I thought.

There was two of them. A man and a woman. Dressed very nice. They must have money. As they approached the door, they appeared to be talking to one another but I couldn't make out what they were saying.

The man opened the door, stepping to the side to let the young woman in first.

"Good morning" I said with a smile.

"Good morning" the woman said, extending her hand for me to shake. "My name is Trina." She said with a grin.

"Hey Trina, I'm josh" I said as I shook her hand, my eyes falling on the box she carried in his arms.

"I believe we have a business proposition for you Mr.  Balz." She said, glancing over at the man.

Something tells me nothing about this meeting would be normal.

"Alright, let's talk business then." I replied with a grin.
