17 is the age that I've become numb
17 is the age that I saw the world for what it really is
17 is the age I got heartbroken and haven't recovered
17 is the age I became ignorant
17 is an age that will forever hold a place in my heart
17 was the age that I came close to death at times
17 is a number that I want you to remember
think about me when you see the number 17
think about the things that made you happy at 17
think about the things that made you sad at 17
now that you've recollected those memories, take those with you as you go deeper into my mind
think about the good things in life
think about the bad things in life
and most importantly, think about everything that made you insane
