Chapter Five

Sebastian's POV

Not much can surprise me, but seeing Jace outside my house was a massive surprise to me. All I could think was that he must have followed Clary here. "Wait here a second!" I told Clary. Whilst Clary waited by the door I walked over to Jace and clicked in front of his eyes, no response. The glamour worked. Jace pulled out his phone and started to dial a number.
"Magnus I followed her and she went into some house, I've been waiting for her to come out for nearly a day now. I have no clue whose house this is but I need to know!" Jace shouted angrily down the phone. Magnus obviously said something in reply because Jace then said "okay be here in 5 minutes!"
"Sebby are we gonna go yet!" Clary whined sweetly whilst pulling on my hand like an over excited little child.
"You've never called me Sebby before, we'll go soon but I think things are about to get interesting here." I told her. Suddenly Magnus appeared out of thin air.
"I'm here Jace, what do you want me to do?" Magnus asked tiredly.
"I want you to find out whose house this is and why clary is here!" he told Magnus angrily. Magnus sighed.
"Well use an opening rune to get the door open as I'm not wasting my magic on that." Magnus said. Jace took out his Steele and Drew an opening rune, he them pushed the door open. Jace and Magnus walked inside leaving the door open. I looked at Clary.
"C'mon let's go inside and see what they're doing." I whispered to Clary. She nodded submissively as she took my hand and walked inside with me. Jace and Magnus looked around downstairs and to Jaces dismay found nothing of importance, we all started to ascend the stairs quietly, I was glad the glamour was still hiding us and surprised Magnus hadn't seen through. Jace slowly pushed open the door to Clary's closet, his eyes widened in surprise when he saw Clary's Morgenstern ring laying on her makeup table.
"She's living here, but the real question is who is she living with." Jace whispered to himself. I tried to suppress a laugh but it was too funny seeing Jace all angry and sad over Clary. The next room we entered was the bedroom, the sheets on the bed were a mess and seeing them like that caused a glint of pain of Jace's eyes.
"She's been sleeping with someone." Magnus said almost guiltily. A picture stuck on the wall caught Magnus' eye. It was a picture Clary took of us in the garden, i was giving her a kiss on the cheek. Magnus gestured for Jace to come over, his jaw dropped in disbelief when he saw the photo.
"SHE'S SLEEPING WITH HER BROTHER!" Jace screamed angrily. I looked over Clary who seemed intrigued by what was going on. Before leaving I took one last look at a heartbroken Jace and a confused Magnus.
