As the sun remained hidden behind the curvatures of the waving hills, the glasses assisting the poor sight of the commander Hange Zoe, became more foggy.
"Levi..." She said in the most optimistic way beaming a gentle smile at the still hanging moon with nothing but pale light to shove the earth.
She did not receive any reply nor grunt from the person she have been calling out. Only the heavy breathings and blood streaming down that person's body can be smelled. And the entirety of the air almost scented like iron gas.
"Levi..." She whispered once again but this time she got the respond that she have been waiting for. With a lot misery in his crumbling voice and tones being blurry in hearing.
"Live"
Was the word that came out of his mouth while his lips curved up to willingly, for his beloved, contrived one last smile.
"Levi..."
Hange, with tears falling atop her cheeks took another seconds just to call his name.
She stood still and didn't bother to look at his ashen face. She knows exactly that this is better, that he can finally drift into slumber without waiting for sleep to visit him.
He can finally rest, rest from all this.
As Hange closes her eyes and inhales a great amount of oxygen to relax her devastated nerves, an immense moan resounded from behind her.
A giant hand scooped upon its spaces her whole being along the corpse of the humanity's strongest.
The titan ate them whole, while Hange took ahold of Levi's hands as they got swallowed and vanished in the depths of crimson liquid.
Drowning in silent, came their deaths.
