4| The only one

Levi's POV

I know from her actions right away, those movements and words. I know that she is really the Hange I used to love from the past.

Her face, smiling and how she fell to the ground by Traute's attack. How her depression managed to take over those smiling eyes of her. How she got overwhelemed with too much stress and sadness that resulted to her not doing good in our fights. How we got eaten when I tried saving her yet got injured too instead.  It all keeps repeating in my dreams.

And I know i have to take care of her.

As Hange sit up straight, and gaze back at me. There were tears forming at the corners of her eyes.

“Levi... your mother...I hope that she'll wake up”

My heart was beating out of my chest. Those eyes are exactly like those in my nightmares. Hange sitting on a chair with her eyes having dark circles below it.

I wanted her to smile...

“I hope so too”

was my respond. As I came near them I began patting her back.

“Hange...you'll she'll be alright”

I said as my face made a worried expression. She seemed to not remember anything from the past the way Erwin and I do. And that nostalgia hitting her now is a sign that she'll soon remember.

In the past, I really do love her...And I was not able to convey it. If I were to, I might stopped her from being depressed, from hesitating if she should live that lead us both to our deaths.

“Levi...what do we do next now?”

An innocent curious voice startled me from my deep thinking, hopefully I managed to answer right away.

“Well, let's go to my room shitty-glasses”

I said trying not to have red blood rushing up my ashen skin. I opened the door and greet my mother goodbye as Hange did too, we bowed down our heads and continued our walk to my room.

Hange's POV

Levi...He looks so sad in his expressions, in other words it feels like I can see through his eyes...

My thought was bothered constantly at how amazing the hallway was, there were lights in countless chandeliers hanging up above me.
And I was left completely mesmerized underneath those star-like lights.

Then it was again that my thoughts were bothered. As a hand got tangled in my hands suddenly, I look back to who's hands are those but the revelation surprised me, leaving blush upon my face.

His face...I mean Levi's face was resting on my shoulder, and his entirety hugs me from my back while holding both of my hands.

I can feel the warmth of his front body against my back and the faint breathings he has, his heart beat I can hear it, I think?

“Uhh...Levi, why all of a sudden?”

I asked the ravenette after composing my mind back to its normal pace while my heartbeats didnt get all that fluttery and all.

“Shhh...someone'swatching”

Levi whispered in my ears while his other hand left mine to only trace my lips to shut me down.

Hange, it's all an act! Just an act!

Then before I can even know it, my arms and limbs started shaking palpably showing that I am more than nervous at the moment.

My heart rate was more than normal and I bet I could just got unconscious and forget about this unfamiliar feelings.

I don't know what I was feeling, I cannot describe it, maybe something magical that leaves me full of sparks.

Levi's POV

I let go of my grasp from Hange's back
after a minute, I was a blushing mess but well...I now have her warmth all over me. It'll be a shame if I hugged myself here like an idiot.

“Levi...”

I heard my name come out of her mouth and felt more hot blood rushing upon my cheeks but then I was shocked at her next words.

“Are you a fan of Titans?”

My eyes have swollen and I cannot stop the urge to smile, so there I was smiling to myself like a wholesome idiot, a fool of love if only I would admit.

Has she remembered? Does Hange now knows?

“You see Levi,there was a new show and it was entitled attack on titan! I love the titans in that anime!!”

“fck”

I said outloud somewhat disappointed, but then the thought of making her remember how much we are so close in the past makes me so eager and excited.

Narrator's POV

Soon the two finally reached Levi's room with Hange still going through her explanations about how titans are the best creation of a manga artist.

Levi was obviously irritated but he knows he miss those words and stories of her.If only he would admit it all.

Levi opened his voice recognition activated door, and the lights of his room opened up just by his hands clapping.

Hange was so amazed at the moment that she stopped her tackle about titans and went with:

“Oh wow Levi! Never in my life have I  seen such things!!”

and then went with:

“Cool Levi this makes want to marry you and your richness!”

With a little awkward silence passing between them, Levi then respond.

“Shut up four-eyed idiot I will not marry you.”

“Oh I know!”

Hanji replied laughing again.

As Hange Zoe was now frolicking around his room observing and touching everything that she sees, Levi on the other hand let her be, while acting annoyed.

Levi then sat on his bed and after awhile, he didn't know he was already asleep.

After hours of slumber he opened his eyes only to get greeted by his now messy room.

“Hange!!!!!”

He shouted somehow full of anger, anger that makes him want to squeeze Hange against his self.

“Tch, she's not here!”
