Hange's POV

"W-what??" I exclaimed in utter dismay as nervousness started growing from my spine. I was in my room and can't somehow imagine what happened yesterday.

Yeah, I was so shocked that that short man would be my boyfriend. I just can't picture how many times Erwin threat me tugging my bestfriend, Nanaba with his foolish ideas.

And when annoyance hit me, I gave up and agreed on being his girlfriend.
'Maybe. Just maybe it won't hurt trying to fall in love.' Those were the thoughts I have from yesterday's events.

"arrggh!!"

I groaned as I heard my phone rang and I just still can't believe what I have agreed on. But somehow as I stood up looking for my phone, an image of a raven-haired man flash in my mind until it all became blurry.

My head aches as my heart did too. It was a pain I felt for the very first time but it was so familiar, full of yearnings and untold messages.

Somehow, I was lost in my thoughts until I compose myself back. I opened my phone and shock got ahead of my eyes.

It's full of messages from my assistant, Moblit and some were from Nanaba, Rico, Mike and Erwin.

"What the fuck!?" the words left my mouth like how the oxygen left my lungs completely.

Nanaba: Hange! Becareful with that short guy, he might stole a kiss or two😉 Ohhh if you haven't remembered anything, you...

Nanaba: Somehow, you...agreed on being a girlfriend of that short man. Aaaandd I'm the matchmaker awiieee~

from your best,
You dont need to thank me😁😂❤

"Why, why meeee..."

I sobbed a little but I know too myself that I got an interest for that shorty. I giggled at what I just called him then turn my gaze onto my phone again.

Rico: Hi! Hange, you somehow need to pay me for yesterday's drink! You are too much drunk, I suppose, that you just did go blabbering about nonsene. And Btw Hans-chan! take that man seriously, he's somehow taking you seriouslt😉

I gasp as everyone's message, all were talking about that Levi. And how the hell did all of my friends know this?
I can sense a little thing in here, something smells fishy, they must have planned this. I stood up to start another day in my little lab, and I should be passing reports by now to the head doctor. To doctor Grisha Jaeger.

Narrator's POV

As Hange rushed her ways inside her messy laboratory, the cold air greet her smiling. The airconditioner was fixed by the hands of her talented assistant and she couldn't be anymore thankful.

Hange walked back outside her office then took a look at her assistant, she sighed to get his attention, then mumbled a thank you.

Moblit blushed at what she just said even though the feelings they share for each other are different, so much different that in 2 years of being her assistant Hange didn't fell for him.

Sadly, Moblit averted his gaze from Hange's then mind his own role in the story.

Hange entered her room again as she work on her report. She then began muttering in the overwhelming silent the words she dares to say everyday.
So the typing started and the clicking sounds of keyboard alongside her small mutters occupied whole, her room.

It was again afternoon, and Hange almost forgot what had happened yesterday, Moblit too still didn't mention it to her, probably because of jealousy.

Tad sounds of footsteps started growing as a short figure entered Hange's room. The scent of chamomile tea and the warmth of tuna sandwich and it's inevitable aroma filled her messy room.

Hange's face seems one of those who have felt real heaven as her muscles started to relax at the healing scent.
Her bones feels like it were never cracked before.

"Tch, stop daydreaming."

The same bored and plain words emanated from the raven-haired man and before Hange could ever say a thing he said, "Starting today you'll work as my girlfriend."
He said as he shove some scratch papers off her table then put upon the wooden table the lunch he prepared for 'his' girlfriend.

"w-wahh h-huh?"

Hange stuttered not knowing whatever word will she allow to escape her long opened mouth.
She don't know what to say to this, she was never an expert when it comes to relationship.

"First, Hange Zoe, you'll need to know the reasons behind this, so you won't get anything wrong.."

Levi stated as Hange's widened eyes never left her face only a gulp was her action and so Levi continued.

"It's not an actual girlfriend/boyfriend relationship, and no way in hell that we'll be a couple."

"My real agenda is that I need a scientist for something so personal and Erwin, my friend recommended you."

"I lied and said I would try dating you.."

'Because before my mother...die..I'll need you to be my fake wife..'

Levi continued as he averted his deep blue greyish eyes from the brunette's hazel brown orbs.

"So what's the payment?"

Hange asked suddenly, the question pops out from nowhere but she knows that she needs the money for the improvement of her laboratory, like how things got broken constantly.

"I can pay you money larger than t
you could ever expect. I'm an Ackerman."

He said introducing his surname, somewhat believing that the brown-haired girl would be willing to make a deal from hearing his known family surname.

"A-ackerman!?"

Hange's voice trembled as her hands did too. That surname, it belongs to the country's largest company. So she smirked then head into her way of deciding.

"What will be my job sir?"

Hange said full of respect as the short man in front of her replied.

"Have a fake wedding together with me..."

"We can get divorced later."

"Deal"
