2016/08/07When picnics were supposed to be good, they never thought it could get better. Min Jin Hae was lying down on the picnic blanket, looking at the stars. Han Seok Ie decided that since she was bored, they would go on a picnic in the middle of the night. And everyone, obviously, came prepared with baskets of food. Kim Eun Soo was eating a sandwich and Kang Sung Hye was lying down on her lap. In the background, Kim Haneul was being chased by Park Song Eun because she took a horrible, horrible picture of her. In the midst of everything, Kwon Hyo Rin was wearing her headphones taking a nap. According to her, Seokie doesn't know what sleep means and how important it is.
"Yah! Haneul, give me that! I'm going to choke you if I catch you!" Songeun shouted, making Haneul run faster. "YAAH!" Jinhae sweat dropped. "When I thought of ideal picnic, I imagined everything but the chasing part." Seokie sighed. "Get used to it. It happens literally everyday." Jinhae chuckled. "Maybe once we graduate college, we can move in to our own apartment. All of seven of us." Jinhae said. "And have it trashed everyday? No thanks." Seokie retorted. She scooted closer to Jinhae and lied down beside her. "Well I just don't want this night to end." Seokie breathed out a sigh and smiled. "I feel as if this is paradise." she added.
Haneul and Songeun had finally settled down and were now quiet. It was beautiful. Except for the fact that Hyorin was still sleeping. "Hey, do hear that?" Everyone except Hyorin sat up. "What sound?" Eunsoo asked. "That. Listen." Sunghye put a finger to her lips to signal everyone to be quiet. "That's the city's alarm going off. I'm starting to worry now! We-we have to get back." Eunsoo started panicking. "Hey, babe. Calm down. We'll get you home." Everyone, again excluding Hyorin, rolled their eyes. "Let's just go. And somebody bring Hyorin."

Jinhae was driving, avoiding as much obstacles as possible. The city looked trashed. Cars were crashed, windows shattered, blood splattered. Was it already the purge? She stepped on the gas pedal harder, going faster. "Whose house?" She asked, not taking her eyes off the road. "Sunghye's. Her house is closest right now." Eunsoo said. Jinhae nodded and made the turn to Sunghye's house.
"I don't know what's going on but this is too much. Let's just hope they're safe." Eunsoo held Sunghye's hand tightly.
The ride seemed long and quiet.
Too quiet.
Haneul had Hyorin in her arms, hoping she wouldn't wake up and hoping that she could calm herself down. She looked at everyone in the car, and even though they seemed cool, she knew they were all nervous and scared. None of them expected that any disaster, or epidemic, would happen soon. They had to finish college and fulfill their dreams then.
"This is it. Let's go."
Not knowing what would happen, they slowly opened the doors and went to the gate of Sunghye's house. Sunghye gulped a lump in her throat. The tension could be felt by everyone. Sunghye reached for the gate's latch and slid it open. She opened the gate and entered with the others. And everything became quiet.
here they come
A scary group of people looking figures ran to the gate, frightening the heeb jeebies out of the seven girls. They ran inside the house, slamming the door behind them. They were panting out of fright. Hyorin, who was now fully awake, was wide-eyed.
"Who were those?!" Hyorin asked with a demanding tone.
"Not who... What..." Jinhae trailed off.
It wasn't even a minute after the shock when Sunghye stood up and walked around the house. "I have to find my parents," she said softly.
They all stood up and decided to help Sunghye. It wasn't long, though, before her parents were found. Found by none other than Seokie. "I think I'm gonna be SICK!!!" Her voice rang out through the house. They all ran to her spot, which was in the guest room. Seokie was in the corner taking deep breaths. "I know I said I like gore, but if it's this up close and someone I know, I'll-I'll pass." She took a shaky breath before rushing to the toilet.
"I agree...," Hyorin said softly.
Seokie could be heard in the background, hurling her guts. "DOES ANYBODY HAVE SLEEPING PILLS?!" she shouted from the bathroom. "NO SLEEPING PILLS FOR YOU!" Jinhae shouted back.
"Last time she had sleeping pills, she didn't wake up for two days. And that was after watching The Conjuring. Said her fear of dolls amplified her fright." Jinhae explained, due to the confused looks she was receiving.
