Tyler's P.O.V

I barged into Andy's house practically breaking his door as I entered. All the lights were out. I sprinted up the stair's to Andy's bedroom.
He was bawling in a fetal position on his bed, surrounded by his perscriptions. My eyes filled up with tears. I sat on his bedside hugging him.

"Andy, why did you have to do this."

"I'm sorry, he said crying, "you really shouldn't have to be doing this."

"Where are your parents," I managed sternly.
He sat up, swaying.

"Getting drunk, as usual." I noticed two shattered beer bottles against the wall. He'd never been one to drink, he thought it to be a disgusting habit because of his parents.

"Andy, are you...."

"NO OF COURSE NOT!" I could smell the liqour in his breath.

"Please, please don't fall into that habit," tears filling my eyes once more.

"I'm sorry, I thought if it helped my parents forget their sh** (family-friendly), it wouldn't hurt trying." I didn't know what to do It's been so long since he's done something like this.

"I bluffed, I bluffed so hard. I don't have another girl! Shes the only one I've ever loved. I just wanted to make her feel as bad as I did when I saw them."

I started picking up the shattered glass.

"I thought we would last, you know. I had our future all planned out She'd go to college like she was meant to, I'd move with her and we'd rent an apartment. She'd become a world-class musician and we'd live on the road touring. I'd be in the front row of all of her concerts pretending each song she played was meant for me, and when things settled down I'd ask her to marry me.

My heart sank, that was probobly the most romantic thing he'd ever confessed to me, bro to bro. I put the pills back in their bottles.

"Let's go on the roof," I told him.

He dragged himself out of bed and opened the window. They both lied down looking up at the stars.

"Hear me out," I said renewing his attention.
"It may be too soon, but you need a rebound, I know what you had with Jenna was specia-" he interjected.

"What I had with Jenna was selfish, she spent all her time worrying about me and I barely got to know her. It takes two for a real relationship and I did the talking 90% of the time. Ugh! I'm such an idiot," he said angrily. Brushing away his tears.

"LISTEN," he went silent, "you know Dim?"

"Yeah?"

"She likes you, and it'd be really cool if you guys hung out." He turned his head giving me a wide-eyed look.

"Dont you like her?"

I've hurt her enough, I avoided her because I still had feeling for the witch of my ex, she deserves to be with a good guy, like you.

Andy chuckled to himself.

"Little Dimmy, likes me, huh."

"Pfft. You're only a year older, she's a sophmore, like me."

"You're little."

"But I could still beat your ass."

"Thanks man, that's really cool of you to look out for me."

"Nah, you guys were made for eachother, you're actually a lot alike, I'm just getting in the way.

We stared up at the stars in silence. I heard Andy's light snoring and I knew it was tine for me to head home. I woke him and he plopped facedown onto his bed. I went into the bathroom and took his razor.
"Just for tonight," I said to myself.
