The next morning was a Saturday. I lay in bed, looking up at the ceiling and then back to Kousuke's sleeping face. His arms were wrapped around my waist and his face was snuggled into my chest. I played with his hair, it was soft.

This probably meant that we were together now, but what was I supposed to tell Satou? Maybe I should tell Kousuke that I had asked her to be my girlfriend...

"Morning..." He greeted drowsily, waking up. "G-good morning..." I replied. He stroked my hair with a smile. "What are we having for breakfast?" Kousuke asked, sitting up. "Hm I don't know...what do you want?" I breathed. "Pancakes." He slid off the bed and pulled on his pants. I got up as well but as soon as I got up, pain tore through my abdomen. I let out a painful 'sss' noise and grabbed onto my dresser. I pulled open the drawer and took out some pale grey sweatpants.

"You okay? You're limping..." Kousuke asked worriedly when I managed to stumble into the kitchen.

"I-I'm fine..." I forced a smile and continued to limp over to the grill. As I began mixing the ingredients, I felt a warm hand run up my side. I leaned into him.

He pulled the waistband of my pants back and then I heard a soft gasp. "I'm sorry... I left so many bruises..." Kousuke whispered, hugging me. "I'm okay really! Besides... I enjoyed it..." My cheeks were burning now.

We ate and then he took a shower while I cleaned up a bit. Then I took a shower. I smelt like him...before the shower. Once I got out, I was greeted with the faint smell of cigarettes.

I walked outside into the mid day sun. "Can you stop doing that?" I sighed. "Hm? Stop what?" Kousuke asked. "You're like a chain smoker almost. That stuff isn't good for you." I gestured to the white cancer stick in his hand. "Okay, for you." He nodded, dousing the cigarette and then dropping it in the little black pouch.

I held out my hand and he put the pack in it. I dropped it into the open dumpster down below. Then I hugged him and walked back inside.

"So... what are you doing today?" I asked. "I have to mark some quizzes and then I have to put together a few worksheets." Kousuke replied with a sigh. "Oh. So then you're going?" I sighed. "Yeah, unfortunately." He ran a hand through his hair. "Well, thanks for coming..." I said awkwardly. "Thanks for having me!" He replied with a smile.

After Kousuke left, I grabbed a capsule of painkillers. I popped one in my mouth and dry swallowed it. Not my best idea but I could care less. My waist hurt like hell.

Now I forgot to tell him about Satou as well... that could wait until tomorrow or Monday.
