Sarah POV

It was September 10th the kids were starting their new year in comprehensive (high school) they both seems excited for a new year but that will soon enough slip away.

"Mm, babe they need shouting up" Elise moaned as she turned over and flung her arm over my stomach and held me closer to her; honestly 16 years of marriage and I swear every-time I see Elise in my T-shirts and wearing my hoodies made me love her even more than I did the first time I saw her,

"Get your arse up then" I chuckled,

"We need to get up anyway we gotta go to work" she exhaled as she sat up and rubbed her eyes, she began to climb out of the bed when I pulled her back, "Babe"

"I'm sorry I missed that" I smirked at her,

"Morning" she rolled her eyes as she kissed my lips before climbing from the bed and heading to the en suite,

"I'll get the kids up" I said through the door before leaving the room; walking up to Fran's door I knocked,

"Fran up sweetie, first day of school" I said slipping my hand through her door and switching on the light before going to Xaviers room and doing the same thing,

"Aww, Mrs G not cool" a very low grouch unrecognisable voice came from behind me; turning around I came face to face with our daughters boyfriend in nothing but a pair of boxers,

"Erm, Francesca" I growled, she came sprinting from her room red in the face as she gave me a sheepish look,

"Sorry Mam" she said as she pushed Craig back into her room she shoved him into her room closed the door and turned round and looked at me,

"Get ready and get your arse downstairs now" I said sternly. Walking back to my room I got dressed for work, I pulled on a pair of dress pants, my blue shirt and pulled my black blazer from the hook on the back of the door,

"Sarah you okay?" Elise asked as she emerged from the bathroom,

"Guess who stopped the night?" I sighed, she looked at me quizzically and still remained clueless,

"Craig" was all I said before I left the room and headed downstairs to make some breakfast and coffee for the household.

Twenty minutes later the whole house including our guest was sat in the kitchen eating breakfast, the room was eerily quiet until Xavier broke the silence,

"So what's Craig doing here"

"Why don't you shut your trap" Francesca snapped,

"Francesca stop trying to avoid the point" Elise jumped in before I had a chance to say anything to her,

"Geez, what's your problem" she huffed as a normal teenage girl would,

"Do you not think we're lenient enough with the amount of time Craig stops here?" I asked, I watched as she shrugged her shoulders,

"Honey, you know we don't mind Craig stopping but not on a school night and definitely not before your first day of school" Elise broke in,

"I think you guys spend way too much time together to start with anyway" I butted in,

"We spend no more time together than a normal couple spend together" she snapped,

"Fran this is not up for debate Craig stops no more during the week and if I find out he has stopped during the week the weekend privilege of having him over will be terminated; am I understood?" I said sternly at her as I finished my mug of coffee,
