Chapter 16- Love Never Dies

Xavier POV

I'd came out of PE late as coach kept me back to talk to me about coaching the younger years after school when I saw Adam get into some guys car who I assumed was Gary I headed home with a heavy heart and sat in my room with the Xbox on,

"Hey sweetie" Mum came through the door after knocking,

"Hey" I mumbled concentrating on the TV and the many zombies I was zapping on screen,

"Everything okay honey? you've been a little distant this past week" she asked perching herself on the edge of my bed behind me,

"Yeah just nothing to share" I replied. Hearing her sigh she stood up and left the room I didn't like being secretive and jarring everything up but in this case there is nothing that she could do.

"Xavier Fran dinner time" Mam shouted from the bottom of the stairs; turning off the Xbox I headed downstairs and sat at the table waiting for Mam to pass out dinner,

"So anything new in our children's lives seems like ages since we've sat down as a family and ate together" she said,

"Ophelia is trying to turn Chantal against me; Tim and I have been great and I have the most understanding parents ever" Francesca smiled,

"Xavier" Mum said looking at me,

"Nothing much just the same old crap" I replied my head in my plate avoiding any conversation. The rest of the evening I sat and tried to avoid any and all conversations until Mam came into my room,

"Hey Xavier you know I'm here to talk to you if you want to vent or tell me something" she said sitting crossed legged in front of me,

"Adam has a secret fiancé that came back into town last week and I guess I just really miss him" I sighed, "I mean we had a fantastic time together and then all of that was screwed over because his stupid fiancé came back to town" I sniffed,

"Well I think you just need to give-" she was interrupted by my phone ringing when I checked the ID it had 'Adam<3' and his picture on the front,

"Answer it see what he wants it might give you a peace of mind" she smiled before standing up and leaving,

"Adam I said whatever excuse you have I'm not interested in it its probably bullshit anyway" I said before he had a chance to leave,

"Xavier he left me" he sniffed, "he took me out and left me at the restaurant, and I keep getting perverted looks off men stood at the bar on the other side of the street,

"WHAT!" I exclaimed, "wait where you at?" I asked shoving my shoes on a grabbing my keys before rushing downstairs and heading for the car,

"Charlie's, next town over" he sniffed again over the other side just hearing him crying was making my heart ache for him,

"Okay, Adam sit tight I'm on my way" hanging up I sped off towards Adam,

'Hold on baby I'm coming'

After driving about for about three quarters of an hour I eventually found 'Charlies' and saw Adam sitting outside on the kerbside; climbing out of the car I rushed towards him,

"Adam" I sprinted towards him and threw my arms around him, quietly whispering his name over and over again in his ear,

"Xavier I'm so so sorry" he cried into my ear,

"Come on you're freezing" I said grabbing his hand and pulling him over to the car and opening the passenger side of the car.

The whole car journey was quiet tense but not awkward, I pulled into the driveway and we were sat in silence looking up at the house,

"So how you been?" he asked,

"Do you want to come in and we can talk" I smiled removing my keys from the ignition and climbed out,

"Hey guys" I said walking through the door,

"Xavier...where did you go?" Mum came out of the kitchen and stopped as she saw us,

"Adam" she sounded shocked but then an angry mist descended on her face,

"Mum before you say anything he's been through a lot tonight okay we gonna be upstairs if you need us okay" I said walking past her with Adam in tow. Walking through my bedroom door I went and sat on the bed and he just stood at the door,

"What you waiting for" I chuckled,

"Been a while since I've been in here" he looked around the room,

"You don't have to be awkward around me come here" I smiled sitting on the edge of the bed closer to him,

"Xavier I am really sorry I didn't mean to hurt you really I was so stupid...I understand if you-" I stood up and crashed my lips to his; his lips were soft and loveable; I rested my head against his,

"I've missed you so much" I whispered,

"I've missed you too, I haven't been the same since Gary came back I'm so glad he's gone" he smiled,

"Wanna stop here tonight?" I asked he nodded his head,

"Only if your Mam's are okay with it" he replied,

"Sure they'll be okay with it" I smiled, "do you want a drink or anything before we stick something on?" I asked removing my shirt and trousers and replacing them with my pyjama pants,

"There's something I've definitely missed" his hand traced the outline of my abs I chuckled as his finger tickled my stomach,

"Give over" swatting his hand away I walked out of my room and headed for the kitchen to grab a drink,

"Where's Adam?" Mum asked,

"Upstairs" I replied, "Is it okay if he stops tonight?" I asked,

"Honey are you sure this is a good idea?" She asked, "are you sure he isn't just gonna run when something goes wrong or if his fiancé come running back to him, your Mam and I don't want to see you the way you have been this past week"

"Don't worry about me, he's here's to stop" I smiled walking back up to my room where for the first time in a week I got to hold my boyfriend and fall asleep in each other's arms. Perfect
