Characters The characters in this book are rather plain but well rounded and easy to understand. They are not given too much depth but this suits the aim of a short novella. Wendy is relatable and sharp minded and unlike many Wattpad characters does not make you cringe every 5 seconds. Gabi I feel should have been developed more to slow for a larger explanation of motives. My favourite character however by far is Adam. He is wonderfully developed backstory that gives the reader insight to the reasons he behaved the way he does while not giving him excuses. His interactions and relationships with other characters are realistic and well thought through.
Plot I enjoyed the plot to this book thoroughly it was well thought through and easy to understand. The story contained enough unexpected twists without getting confusing. The first few chapters are rocky compared to the last which fluently flow from one idea to another. The structure of the story is nice as it flicks from the present to the recent a few time in the novella. The only main con to this book is due to its small chapter size is that it some of the plot options and characters did not feel fully explored.
Should you read this book? Would I recommend this to a friend... YES! this book is high paced and can be devoured by a book worm in one sitting!
