Chapter 2--New Look

Butters woke up early in the morning as he started his normal routine as he looked at himself in the mirror. He looked down a his arms some as he ran his thumbs over a few of the marks as he shook his head. Not going to... he told himself over and over as he heard his alarm finally go off. He reached over grabbing up his phone as he turned the alarm off. He went to close out of his phone before a text popped up. He felt his heart wanting to leap from his chest as he ran his thumb over the little text box before opening it.

*Text from KenDoll* Buttercup! New year, new me! Whatcha think? Butters scrolled down slightly seeing the picture that came in. As if staring back through the phone was Kenny with his electric blue eyes and messy dark blond hair. His skin had just a really soft tan to it and Butters could see a few freckles that ran over the others nose. He had his tongue stuck out revealing a new tongue piercing that was bright orange. The color stood out against the one baby blue and one black snake bites he already had.

Butters felt his face burn in a light blush as he reached up touching at the baby blue cartilage piercing that he got with Kenny at the end of their Sophomore year. He ran his fingers over the picture as he quickly saved it before he responded to the message. I love it!! You won't get to see my new look till later. He sent the message before he stripped off his pajamas as he looked back in the mirror. He looked at his shoulders for a moment as he let out a longing sigh before he threw open his closet. He grabbed at a baby blue shirt as he pulled it on seeing that it was tight on him. He found himself smirking some as he grabbed black skinny jeans pulling them on as well.

He heard his phone ding as he reached over grabbing his phone as he pulled his baby blue converse. *From KenDoll* You are such a tease ;0 Butters read as he found himself laughing and blushing brightly. I learned from the best friend I could ever have. ;3 See you at the stop. He then sent the message as he pulled his shoes on. He then got back into the closet as he dug for a moment finding a black denim jacket. He ran his fingers over the small bedazzled Hello Kitty that was on the inside collar of the jacket. He then looked at the front touching the his nickname over one pocket before pulling it on.

He stepped back looking himself over slowly as he drew in a long deep breath putting his wallet into his inside pocket then his phone in his pocket. He fluffed up his hair as he grabbed a hair tie putting it around his wrist for later before he grabbed up his baby blue backpack. He gingerly put the straps on flinching slightly from the bag brushing over the marks before the bag settled right under it. He smiled at his new look before he left his room glad his parents were gone. He grabbed an apple before he grabbed his keys walking out the door. He locked it as he turned looking around watching kids walking down the sidewalk. Some had their wings out laughing with the friends they had.

Butters watched for a moment before he started his walk down the sidewalk as he looked around again. He felt longing slowly push up into his chest as he let out a long sigh. He hated to admit to himself but he didn't like the people that had them. He always wandered why he didn't have his. He sighed some as he felt sadness slowly overwhelm him as he drew in long deep breaths to keep himself from crying. "Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam Buttercup!" ran out a voice pulling him from his trance. Butters looked up and saw the one person that could always lighten his day. Kenneth "Kenny" McCormick.
