Time for a change

Chapter 5

Joseph didn't wanted to see the so-called "daughter" of his, his own blood and flesh because she took away Wendy from him. His wife was the light to his dark life. She helped him out from his past, which always haunted him to think about his mother but Wendy was always there for him. And just because of her he changed into a better son, a better husband and the biggest change was to change to be a better human being. He had a dark past and Wendy brought that positive change into his life but now she was gone. He hated the baby which the doctor was holding in his hands. " Joseph, this is your daughter, embrace her into a hug. You need to be strong for her. " said the doctor from behind Joseph. Joseph came back to reality when he heard the doctor words and when the words sink into his mind, he turned to the doctor without looking to his daughter and said, " A nanny will be here soon to take her with her. I don't want to see her face ever again! I HATE her! " With that Joseph left the hospital. The doctor was stunned by Joseph's words because he couldn't believed that a father would say something like this about his own child.

After crying his heart out, Joseph took a decision, a very dangerous one indeed. He would make his own daughter life miserable and would never open his heart to anyone else. He would make his daughter regret each and every second of her life and she would not be his daughter but his slave! He would make his " daughter " life a living HELL! Joseph had a plan in his mind. With that he left to make his plan into action.

Back at the hospital

The nanny which the doctor was expecting to come and fetch the baby of the late Wendy and Joseph's came after an hour Joseph left the hospital. She finish the paperwork for discharging the baby. Just when she was about to go and take the baby away with her, she saw a few nurses and a doctor running to the room where the baby was currently in and she got panicked and followed them. When she reached the room, she stopped one of the nurses and asked her, " What happened to the baby? Is everything alright? " Just then the doctor came and told the nanny to call the baby's father right away because the baby doesn't have enough time. With that she took one last look at the baby who was fighting for her life currently and she ran out of the room and tried to call Joseph. After numerous of calls when Joseph still wasn't picking up bus phone, she gave up on him because she exactly knows what kind of a person Joseph is. She rushed back to the hospital room to see that the doctors were trying their best to save the baby but the hospital machines were showing that the baby was slowly dying. At that time, the nanny went and hold the little angle's tiny hands in hers and whispered, " You gotta live for yourself. You are not gonna die so fast. Fight for your life, fight for your father's love. Change your father. And most importantly, fight for what is right, little angle. You have to live for the girls who are abandoned just because they are born as girls. " The doctor came to the nanny's side and told her to wait outside the room and they will try their best to save her. With that she left the room and prayed to god to save the baby.
