Chapter 7

"I don't want to be infatuated with him anymore."

"Because I want to truly fall in love with him."

To think that these words were coming out from Park Jimin, Taehyung found it unbelievable.

After school, Jimin decided to ask for advice from Taehyung again before heading to the library.

"You what?" Taehyung asked, extremely puzzled.

"I said what I said. Jungkook, Jeon Jungkook, is driving me crazy and I don't know what to do." Jimin sighed, burying his head in Taehyung's pillow.

   "Well, you want to truly fall in love with him? But why?"

   "He doesn't like people who gets easily infatuated with his looks. I don't want him to dislike me." Jimin pouted.

   Taehyung chuckled.

   "So you want to fall in love with him because you don't want him to hate you for being infatuated with him? Jimin I think you're missing the whole point here."

    "Have you ever wondered, like, perhaps you aren't actually infatuated with him anymore? Maybe you actually love him? Just that you haven't realised it?" Taehyung questioned.

   And that hit Jimin hard.

   "Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.." Jimin thought for a bit.

   "What is love?" Jimin answered with another question after 3 minutes.

   Taehyung facepalmed.

   He pulled out his phone and typed in something before answering Jimin.

"First question, do you imagine Jungkook fucking you or do you imagine Jungkook going on a date with you more?" Taehyung asked.

   "Well," Jimin blushed lightly.

  "I've always wanted him to go on a date with me. At the start, it was more about that stuff. But I soon realized that wasn't it. Going on a date with him would be so much nicer and sweeter so I tend to imagine about it a lot more."

   "Second question, if you had the chance, would you deliberately try to make him jealous or would you deliberately show him that you are not taken and make him smile?"

  "I don't need to make him jealous, he probably don't even like me. So, show him I'm not taken and make him smile is my decision."

  "Last question, describe Jungkook."

"He's so sweet, and he's so kind-hearted. He helped me when I fainted, and he asked if I was okay when something seemed odd about me. He stood up against Hyunjae for me, he bought me a shirt just because I said I wasn't comfortable in uniform. He is so sweet, a personality so wonderful and beautiful. He makes me go crazy with his sweet vanilla scent when he spooned me. He makes my heart beat faster when he says my name in his sweet, gentle voice. Everyday, I go to the library, looking forward to see him, to talk to his beautiful personality. He's so perfect, inside out. Ah shit, I'm really infatuated aren't I?"

  Taehyung smiled.

   "You're not."

   "What?" Jimin's eyes widened.

   "If you were infatuated, you would have thought about Jungkook fucking you more than going on a date. You would have wanted to make Jungkook jealous, and you wouldn't have spoken so much about his personality. Notice how you never spoke about his looks specifically, but only his personality. You fell for his looks at first, that's infatuation. But now, you fell for both his personality and his looks, that's love."
