Chapter 9

  "You mean Jungkook confessed to you yesterday?"
Taehyung was in shock.

"Yeah, i mean, i don't know, like, why me? i'm not even that good looking, and like, doesn't he have other options? why me? maybe he was just joking, i don't know-" Jimin rambled.

"Stop! Jimin, that's good news! he likes you! so just date already!" Taehyung smiled.

"yeah, no but, i don't know, i don't know him that well yet, you know? I don't want to rush into things." Jimin huffed.

"hm, makes sense. You see, I was actually planning," Taehyung said.

"Yeah?" Jimin asked.

"After exams, do you want to go on a trip with me and some other friends?"

"Where to?"

"Tokyo."

"Yeah I guess.. who else is going?"

"I'm planning to ask Jin"

Jimin shook his head vigorously.

"No! It will be hella awkward! Don't you like him? I don't want to third wheel!" Jimin folded his arms and narrowed his eyes.

"Then let's invite both Jin and Jungkook. The both of them are friends anyway."

"NO" Jimin tensed up. His heart palpitating.

Taehyung smirked.

"Right, it's settled then. We going on a trip with Jungkook and Jin after our examinations end."

"Did you not hear what I said? I said no! Jungkook can't go with us! I can't handle that!"

"Hmmm okay let's see... I was going to make it a 2 days 1 night trip but I guess 3 days 2 nights sounds good too!" Taehyung laughed.

"TAEHYUNG!" Jimin shouted anxiously, pacing around, trying to tell his best friend to stop messing around.

"This will be a great time for you to bond with Jungkook and get to know him as a person! Who knows, maybe you'll date him by the end of it!"

"You don't have a choice," Jimin crossly looked at Taehyung, while Taehyung just stuck his tongue out playfully at him.

"Shit, I'm late," Jimin glanced at his watch while running towards the library.

   It was currently 6.30 p.m.

   Jimin, apparently, had stayed too long at Taehyung's place, arguing about the trip.

   The moment he reached the library, he saw someone had already taken his seat.

   Jimin sighed, he knew something like that would happen.

   He glanced at Jungkook's regular seat, he wasn't there either.

   Was he too upset about the thing yesterday? Was he regretting his decisions? Is he too stressed out?

   Jimin was worried, Jungkook never skipped any days.Just when he was about to leave and get to Jungkook's place, he felt a hand grabbing onto his wrist.

   "You're late."

  Jimin turned around, his eyes widened.

  Jungkook was leaning against the library wall this whole time.

    "Jungkook.. why aren't you at your regular seat?"

   "Because you usually get here earlier than me. I wanted to wait for you." Jungkook muttered to Jimin.
