( LUNCH DATE? )

~~~
Angie headed to Victoire's house at 11 o'clock on Friday for lunch, so Angie's and James' parents could meet. Angie was going to spend the night at the Burrow so that Victoire wouldn't have to worry about picking Angie up.
"Angie! I'm so glad you could make it! You, me, and James are going to go outside on that little hill for a picnic lunch, so all of our parents can talk. Also so your parents can meet my siblings and James' siblings. I'm not sure why but it's whatever. James is outside, so lets go! Thanks Mr. and Mrs. Morris!" And with that, Victoire grabbed Angie's hand and dragged her away.
    "See you later, mum, dad!" Angie called with a small wave.
Vic dragged Angie quickly through her yard, until Angie could see a tall boy with messy black hair leaning against a tree, a blanket and picnic basket by his feet. They continued to get closer until Angie found herself being pushed onto the blanket.
"James, sit."
0Bloody hell, Vic, I'm not a dog!" But he obeyed, and sat.
"James, this is Evangeline. Evangeline, this is James."
"Hi," James said, holding out his hand.
"Um, hello. And call me Angie," she responded, taking his hand and shaking it. She may have seemed only a little nervous on the outside, but on the inside...
He is so hot. And polite. And kind. And sweet. And hot. Oh my gosh...
"Angie? Earth to Angie!" Victoire was calling.
"Huh? Oh, yeah, um, what?"
James laughed. Victoire rolled her eyes.
"I was asking about your dance? You've helped in Lily's class?"
"Oh, yeah. I mean, I'm not her teacher but... yeah."
"If I remember last year's recital, you could have been the teacher," James replied with a half smile.
Angie's face burned, and she smiled. "You were there?"
"Yeah. I came to watch Lily. She's my little sister."
Victoire punched James. "Um, excuse me?"
"Oh, right, and Vic," James said, smirking. "But she's not any good."
Victoire ran her tongue over her top teeth, glaring at James.
"Vic is one of the best dancers there!" Angie exclaimed.
"He likes to tease me, that's all," she replied, smiling.
"I was super bored at the recital. It's not my kind of thing. Lily did good, of course, and I paid attention to her dance. All the others I practically slept through, until yours and Vic's. Those dances were beautiful."
Angie blushed fiercely, and she looked down, smiling.
"Her looking down and blushing is her way of saying thanks," Victoire said, smirking at Angie. She looked over to the house, before saying, "My parents are calling me. I'll be right back!" Then she got up and ran towards her house, leaving Angie and James alone.
"You know that Vic plans on you and me getting together, right?" James asked.
"Oh, yeah, I know." She paused before asking, "Are you opposed?"
James looked thoughtful. "I mean, I wouldn't mind, but I'm not going to let Vic rush it. Whatever happens happens."
Angie nodded. "I like the way you think."
The rest of the lunch went well. Victoire returned back eventually, smirking slightly when she noticed that the two had moved to sit next to each other.
"It's easier to talk to each other if you're next to each other," James lied after he saw Victoire's smug look.
"Mmhmm, sure, James," she said, smirking even more. The funny part was, it wasn't like they were super close together, they were about a foot and a half apart, but Victoire liked to make James squirm a little when she could get away with it.
Eventually, the three teenagers went back inside, where their parents will still talking.
"So, where does James go to school?" Angie's parents asked.
"He goes to a boarding school in London. Not well heard of, but a very good school," Mrs. Potter replied carefully.
Victoire was watching the three Potters closely, as if reminding them of something. Angie made the executive decision that she'd just imagined it. She liked James. He was funny, told amazing stories, and seemed overall nice and polite. She'd loved his stories about dragons and of all the silly things him and his siblings would get up to, and the pranks he pulled. Okay, maybe the pranks weren't very nice, but they always were alright in the end.
"Well, it was very nice meeting you," Angie's mum said, knocking her out of her thoughts. "We'll be seeing each other very soon, I suppose."
"Yes, it was a pleasure to meet you and Angie as well. We'll be seeing you sometime tomorrow," Mr. Potter said, shaking each Morris's hand in turn.
Soon after that, Angie went with Victoire to the Burrow.
"You'll be staying in here, with Vic, my dear," Mrs. Weasley said. "Not a very big room, but I'm sure you won't mind."
"Of course not, Mrs. Weasley. We are friends, after all."
"Good thing, too. I'll be having a lot of visitors. Don't keep her up too late, Vic. I know how you can be."
"I promise, gramma," Vic said, giving her a swift kiss on the cheek. "Thanks for letting us stay overnight."
"It's just more people that I get to share my cinnamon rolls with! Good night, dears."
"Goodnight," the girls said, with no intention of going to bed at that early hour.
