Killian's POV
This is getting really hard to deal with. I think the worst part is that I can't really talk to any of my friends about it because they wouldn't fully understand what this feels like.
My parents arguing just got worse over the weekend. It doesn't help that my mom isn't feeling to well, which is the main cause for them fighting. I just want things to go back to the way things were before my mom got sick. With them always fighting about somethings as simple as a bar of soap, I can't have the guys over unless I want to explain everything that's going on. And I defiantly do not.
I use school as a way to escape. It kinda works, but being the star of the football team doesn't exactly relieve any kind of pressure. I do like the attention because I surely don't get it at home, unless I'm being dragged into the argument being forced to choose a side. Normally it's moms just because I have more of a connection with her, and also because my dad doesn't really ever have a valid reason for starting the argument.
My Mondays and Fridays are usually different from everyone elses. I get so excited for a Monday because that means I get to get away from my father. The only thing I like about Friday is when we have a football game, until the season is over, or my dad isn't at home. I can't wait for things to finally either go back to normal, or change and get better.
Monday
After I got ready for the day I headed down stairs to find my mom in the kitchen making some breakfast. I was so happy to see her out of her bed for the first time in a while.
"Goodmoring Mom! Whatcha making?" I ask with a smile. I had a pretty good feeling what it was, but I just really wanted to hear her voice.
She looks over at me and smiles. Man it's good to finally see her smile again. That must mean he isn't around, thank goodness for that. I thought.
"Well, I am making my favorite guy his favorite breakfast before he heads off for the day." She said with a smile the whole time.
I started to think about how before everything happened she use to smile like that all the time, but now its so rare that I can't help but smile until my cheeks absolutly hurt. She snapped me out of my thoughts when she said, "What all do you have planned for today?"
"Um... nothing much. As far as I know it's going to be a normaly Monday at school. I do have practice this afternoon though, so I won't be home right after school." I finished right as she set the food down on the table.
"Alright. That sounds like a good day. Now come sit down and lets have some good ole pancakes and bacon." I set beside her and we ate in a confortable silence.
I helped clean as much as I possible could before I had to start walking if I wanted to make it to school on time.
"Bye mom, love you!" I shouted as I walked out of the front door.
Right before I closed the door I heard her shout, "Bye Killian. I love you too!"

As I was walking into schhol I saw Robin, Graham, Neal, and Leroy all in our normaly meeting place in the mornings. In front of my locker. Sometimes it got a little annoying, but it would only last a few seconds.
As I finished the rest of my way towards the group I heard Neal say, "Yeah I saw her this morning with Ruby in the office. She looked really cute. Maybe if I'm lucky I can have a class with her."
I was confused as to who he was talking about. He says a lot of girls are cute, and I do have to agree, but the way he's talking it sounds like someone new. "What are you talking about? Who was with Ruby this morning?"
