Matéo Santiago's POV
"Ah fuck this!" I mutter, throwing my hands down in annoyance.
We are getting ready to go to dinner with our families and I can't fix this stupid ass top button!
My mother insisted that we all dress up fancy, because there may be some more guests.
I asked Adeline if she was okay with it and she said she was, so I'm okay with it.
"Matéo, you need to calm down!" Adeline tells me, standing in front of me.
She smooths her hands over my chest, holding my shoulders firmly and then she fixed it up almost professionally.

I look at her calm face as she does all of this.
Wow...
The mother of my child.
My son or daughter, that is a little piece of her and me.
She looks so cute when she's concentrating!
She catches me staring at her and turns away from me shyly.
I grab her wrist and turn her to face me.
"You look beautiful, baby" I tell her, and she truly does.

Obviously the baby bump isn't showing yet, so she really suits the shape of the dress nicely.
I honestly can't wait to see the bump show in all honesty.
I want the world to know that there is a new Santiago on the way!
I know it's selfish, because I am not doing the heavy lifting, but...

She smiles genuinely at me.
