Opposites [Supernatural Fanfic]

We arrive at the mansion at 3 am, ironically. We park in some bushes inspecting the mansion first before we go inside. "There are demons inside, I feel them" Gabriel says. "There is something else, more powerful," he says quieter to where I barely caught it.

I nod wondering what this greater force is. Just then I see two tall bulky men walking up to the house from the driveway. The moonlight shines on their eyes, which are pitch black.

"Demons" I mumble. Just then a woman comes out of the house, her eyes go pitch black too. We get out the truck and sneak into the bushes to listen. "Hand her over Merdia," one of the men says sternly.

"Never! Lucifer said she stays here, she shall stay until he sends the girl to claim" the woman shouts. "Nonsense! The girl is human! What human hunter will take care of such a child of a man so evil!" The other man yells at her.

"Lucifer isn't an idiot! He is our father! He will not send one to harm her! Leave now before the girl arrives. I have to get her ready" the woman says very offendedly.

They must be talking about me, she is waiting for me to arrive. "Merdia, you are giving us no choice but to take the child by force," they both say in unison while taking a step closer. "Stand back!" I shout as Gabe and I come out from the bushes.

"It's the girl!" The woman shouts at me happily basically jumping out of her shoes. "Hunters, shoulda known you will come at a bad time" one of the men growled. "Gabe walks up to the two demons and put his hands on their faces.

"Time to take a nap boys," he says as a light glows in their eyes and mouths then they both drop to the ground. I sigh remembering Fred as I watch them both fall.

"Ah, girl! Lucifer sent you, come in! Come in we don't have much time!" The woman tells me waving me inside.

Any other time I would have run off but since I watched the argument this had to be important. Gabe looks at me wearily "can't go in, warded" he says nervously. I nod as I walk up to him and hug him before I follow the woman inside.

The inside was amazing, the walls were pure dark red but the color is so fascinating, in front of me there is a large black stairway leading up as a grey carpet follows up to the last step. She hurries me up the stairs and I notice a few barbies and other toys laying around.

"Now girl, listen to me closely and you must tell no soul, only ones you are 100% won't hurt this child," she says in a very serious tone while looking down at me.

"Yes, ma'am," I say as my manner instincts kick in. She stops walking and faces me.
   
"There was a time when Lucifer wanted to be like his father. When he wanted to create something and be proud to be the creator of. Then when his father let you, humans, to have kids that sparked an idea. He saw how you humans adored the little helpless children.

So made his very own daughter, he found a human that wanted give birth to the child but he made sure years later she will be reborn. He names the girl what the woman wanted just so the child has something with the mother as the birth will surely kill her. It was a secret from all. It was the only time he allowed true emotion to show was when he was with the woman or the child when it was born. The child reminded him of the woman so much that he felt feelings he could not comprehend towards the woman which you humans called is love.  As the father he wanted the kid to stay little so he made sure the little girl can hold the age she was at for eternity until the mother is reborn.

Then Lucifer's father found out about the reincarnation of one of his humans. He stopped it not knowing why this nonspecial human was coming back from heaven. This cause some of Lucifer's rebellion. Before he was locked away he assigned me to take care of his little girl while he was fighting just in case something happens to him. He tried to mess with the woman's soul and bring her back as soon as possible but he messed up and only had got half the soul to come back.

He put some of the soul in his daughter for when she is reborn and finds their child she shall feel the connection they have instantly. As for the rest will go connect with the remaining of her and she will feel as a normal human" the woman rambles as if this is nothing.

Lucifer has a kid, he fell in love, what is going on? Her voice stops my thoughts.  "Then he was cast away leaving me to care for his child until the mother has come to claim. He has sent you to take her, the demons now know as when he told you where she was at it shook Hell, literally, with the words. Take her and protect her" She says walking towards a room at the end of the hall.

She opens the big purple door to reveal a small child no bigger than 3 years old. "Meet  Donatella, Lucifer's daughter," she says. I look at the child as she looks up at me. Something aches in my chest as she smiles at me.

I walk up to her feeling all sorts of weird feelings, I have seen kids before but I feel drawn to her. I crouch down to her "Hey Donatella" I smile. "Hi" she waves.

"Your adorable do you know that?" I giggle. She giggles too blushing"thank you!" Who knew Lucifer's kid was so nice?

"So um hey Don, may I call you Don?" I say quickly. "Yeah" her voice is so small and soft, it is just so adorable. "Well Don, you need to come with me okay?" I say softly as I dealt with children before and I've noticed kids like calm and quiet voices rather than panicked loud ones. "Okay, I will come, I trust you" I smile at her words.

"I will pack her a bag with what she needs," the woman says. I nod as she grabs a backpack then puts clothes and toys in it. "So Don, I will take you with me and my friend Gabriel, he is a cool guy," I tell her. "Father told me about his brother, I trust him too" she smiles.

The woman hands me her backpack then we hear the front door breaking down with two loud crashes. "They are here, go I will buy you time!" She says. She crouches down to Don. "I love you Donatella, be good for her sweetie, she will help you and protect you," she says before kissing her forehead. She stands to look at me with a sad smile, knowing she won't live for much longer.

"Thank you, protect her please, child or not, your one brave girl, don't forget that," she says looking at me. "Wait, what is your name?" I ask as she turns away from me. "Merdia, servant and protector of Lucifer," she says before running off downstairs.

I pick up Don and place her on my hip with her backpack. I run out of the room to see the demons fighting Merdia in the living room so we sneak past them down the stairs. I run out the broken front door. I head for the truck seeing Gabriel in the driver's seat.

"Start the car!" I yell. He does then when I swing the door open and slam it shut he speeds out of the bushes and down the road away from the mansion. "You okay?" Gabriel asks giving me a few glances.

"Yeah, just learned something new that is all" I squeak moving Don who hasn't made a noise, onto my lap. "Who is that?!" Gabriel almost screams not noticing her before.

"This is Lucifer's daughter, Donatella. Your niece."
