A/N:
Hi all! I wrote this story in 2018/early 2019 (can't quite remember) and now that I look back on this story, I absolutely hate it! So, I've decided that I'm going to be rewriting these chapters.  Originally this story was 346 words, but now that I've re-written it, the word count is now 933.  So, to those who have read this series of oneshots before, feel free to read them again! They will be improving!  Okay, now with the re-written version of this!

Defense against the dark arts would usually be boring, but fortunately Professor Lupin would be teaching the class. In Harry's opinion, he was a far better teacher than any past professor he had ever had. He was seated in the front of the classroom, which was incredibly unusual of him. In the back of the classroom, a gang of troublesome, slytherin teenagers unwillingly wearing the school uniform could be seen performing the rebellious act of hexing students in front of them. Taking advantage of not being seen by an the professor, the rowdy slytherins, easily distinguishable by the green, pulled out their prohibited potions and began to drink them; not caring at all about the consequences. Paper cranes were being manufactured with great precision at one end of the classroom and flown to the other end, hitting several annoyed children on the way and earning a good amount of foul-mouthed words in return. One of the cranes hit the back of Harry's head, so he turned around quickly and picked it up off the floor.

Potter,

Can we meet again after class? I've been missing you like crazy (even though we saw each other yesterday)! I really miss your big, strong arms wrapped around me... I'll also do your potions homework for you -- that can be your excuse to use if Ronald or Hermione asks where you've been.

Yours x

Harry peered over at who he assumed had sent it, and of course he was right. Draco and himself had been in a relationship for a few months now, and they were very happy together. Though his note was semi-teasing, Harry appreciated it. Potter gave his boyfriend a small wink before turning back to Professor Lupin, seeming a little excited about this lesson. They were learning about Boggarts, which Hermione was incredibly interested about. Her hand just seemed to be stuck in the air at this point, which Remus welcomed. He explained to the students what Boggarts were; A Boggart is an amortal shape-shifting non-being that takes on the form of its observer's worst fear. Because of their shape-shifting ability, no one knows what a Boggart looks like when it is alone, as it changes instantly upon encountering someone.

"Line up, students! It's time you encounter a boggart yourself." Lupin called out, using his wand to shift the desks out of the way. They began to fall into line, Pansy Parkinson standing in front of the line. She stepped forward, playing this whole thing off as though it were nothing. She didn't seem bothered by this; stating that she 'Wasn't scared of anything'. Parkinson pointed her rather small wand carelessly towards the cupboard, not even paying attention as the creature appeared. Several students gasped as they walked this unravel. It was Draco. He had his usual sneer upon his face, stepping in front of her and cupping her face.

"Parkinson..." He drawled, rolling his eyes. "You disgust me, you know? I was never your friend. In fact, I hate you. Please -- for Merlin's sake -- never talk to me again."

She gasped quietly, shaking nervously as she mumbled 'Riddikulus' and watched as the rather rude Draco turned into McGonagall dressed as Dumbledore. Pansy speed walked to Draco, her eyes watering. Malfoy, slightly confused, gave her a hug. Harry watched this, a bit jealous of the whole thing. He rubbed her back, before pulling his wand out of his robe pocket and stepping in front of the closest. It took a moment, before the Boggart slipped out of the carpet. Draco stared down at the feet of the being, and already knew what was going on. Oh. Oh fuck. He couldn't look.

"Draco, you are going to take the dark-mark next year. Why can't you just accept that and behave yourself? It's a pity, my cane keeps getting covered in your blood and the house elves take far too long to clean it." The Boggart impersonation spoke.

"F-- Father..." Draco gulped, squeezing his eyes shut. He tried to say the spell, but his stuttering kept ruining it.

"Tell me again, how long are those glamours going to hold up? I'd much rather see all the bruises and scars I've left upon your skin." Lucius spoke with such a bored tone, one that Draco was far too familiar with. Harry, on the other hand, had enough of this. His boyfriend was hurting, and nobody would help him, so he would take things into his own hands now. Harry pushed him out of the way, staring as the boggart changed his shape to a dead body. It was Draco's dead body -- blood oozing out of him. He layed like a doll over the floor, limbs at awkward angles and heads held in such a way that he couldn't pass as being sleeping. Potter furrowed his brow, directing his stare towards the real Draco and breathed a sigh of relief.

"Riddikulus!" He shouted, not bothering to look as the creature transformed into something else and rushing over to Draco who was sobbing weakly. All the students meekly stared at the two of them, unsure of what to do. Professor Lupin gave Harry a nod, as though to tell him that they could leave. Potter took Malfoy's hand, directing him out of the classroom and walking down the hallway with him, his hand in his. Harry whispered comforting words into Draco's ear, his tears eventually turning into blushing and giggles.

"I love you, Draco. Every single part of you. And I'm always going to be here for you, and no matter what, I will protect you."

"I love you too, you sap. Now, please, give me a hug."
