I don't hate anyone
I never did
but if I did
I don't think I could ever hate you.
The bible teaches us about forgiveness
in just about every chapter,
yet only once does it fully
let us know that everyone
we will ever meet,
ever know,
ever care about,
ever love
will one day disappoint us
Except God himself
who's love is everlasting.
It's up to us to forgive those
who disappoint us,
who leave us,
who hurt us and the ones we love.
~ But if God can't disappoint us then why does he feel so far away? Why does it feel like he's turned his back on me?
