Everyone slept in the drop ship with the door closed.

"Hey I'll go hunting with you." A boy named Brandon says to Bellamy.

"I'd rather go alone. Only have my own back to watch." Bellamy tells him.

"Hey I was training to be a guard back on the Ark." Brandon tells him.

I sit up walk over to them.

"Brandon Hill, right?" I ask.

Brandon nods.

"Aren't you the one who shot that guard dead between the eyes?" I ask him.

Brandon shifts his weight.

"Yeah, he was taking my mom." Brandon explains.

"Yeah well your stupidity got your mom floated, yourself arrested, & my dad killed." I spat.

"How'd it get your dad killed?" Brandon asks confused.

"That guard was my dad." I say.

Brandon sighs.

Bellamy steps back a few steps.

I pull my right hand back I punch Brandon square in the nose.

"My mom was floated when I was 3, my dad was all I had left!" I yell.

"Shhhh!" Bellamy spats.

"Stop yelling! Those creatures are drawn in by sound." Clarke spats as she walks in.

"I don't have time for this." Bellamy says as he walks away.

I follow him.

"Take me with you." I say.

Bellamy laughs.

"You have one hand." Bellamy states.

"I'm Jeffery Cole." I say.

Bellamy's eyes bug.

"Well then it's your own skin." Bellamy says.

"Let me grab a knife." I say as I start to walk off.

"Here." Bellamy calls out.

I turn around & he tosses me a knife.

"Aim for the head that's the only way that seems to kill those things." Bellamy says.

I nod.

"Walkers. Isn't that what they called them?" I ask.

"I don't care what the Grounders called them." Bellamy spat.

I watch him walk over towards one of the tents that we've started to build.

He soon came back out.

"Has anyone seen Octavia?" Bellamy asks out loud for everyone to hear.

"I think she went with Murphy's group to the river." Brandon says as he comes out of the drop ship.

I flip him off when I catch him looking my way.

"Sorry, but he has aim." Bellamy says to me.

I look at him confused, then I realize what he means. Brandon's going hunting with us.

- Taya's POV

"Have you seen Carl?" Rick asks me as he enters my room.

"He left early this morning with Daryl for the make up hunting trip." I reply.

Rick nods then sits down on my bed.

"Do you really trust them sky people?" He asks me.

"Their leader seems smart & they have a doctor, but they don't have real weapons nor knowledge of this world." I reply.

Rick nods.

"I just hope we don't have to kill them all." Rick sighs as he gets up.

"Rick, if it comes to that make sure that they make the first move. Promise?" I say to him.

Rick nods, then walks out of mine & Carl's room.

- Jeffery's POV

"Hey isn't that Murphy?" Brandon asks.

"Nah." I joke harshly.

Brandon rolls his eyes.

We walk up to Murphy's group.

"Where's my sister?" Bellamy asks.

Murphy sighs.

"We ran into walkers....." Murphy trails off.

"No!" Bellamy growls.

"Bell, she ran, she could be alive." Harper explains.

"My sister, my responsibility." Bellamy sighs.

"What are you waiting for let's go!" I say.

Bellamy nods.

- Taya's POV

Daryl came back from his hunting trip an hour ago, but Carl wasn't with him.

Daryl said Carl & him split off, so Carl should be back soon.

But I'm afraid he ran into a Thrasher.

I sneak out of camp, the way Enid usually does.

I ran with my knife in one hand & my gun in the other.

I run into a glower.

"So beautiful. If I ever turn I hope I become a glower." I say right before stabbing the walkers eye in.

Then I hear talking.

I stalk my way towards the talking.

I see Carl & that girl from the sky people.

I stalk closer to listen.

"I'm sorry that happened to you." The girl says.

"I'm sorry you lived under the floor. Octavia I couldn't imagine having to do that." Carl says.

"Carl, I couldn't imagine my eye getting shot out." Octavia says.

I can see Carl blush as Octavia runs his arm.

I hold in a laugh, I've been with Rick since before the apocalypse.

Rick & my mom were lovers in high school, & Rick is actually my real dad, but I took my moms last name.

Cause Rick was married to Lori & she was also pregnant.

Carl is a month older than me.

- Jeffery's POV

"I think I see her." Bellamy says.

We stalk closer.

"She's across the river." Harper points out.

"She's with a boy." Murphy adds.

Right then the boy leans in & kisses Octavia.

Bellamy clenches his fists.

I gulp.

- Taya's POV

"Carl you better hope Rick is ok with this. She's on our side of the river." I say when I see Carl kiss the girl.

"If he's not, there's going to be a war." I sigh.
