Chapter 12

Sarah's P.O.V

As Olivia-Jolie, Sheera and I put our stuff in the back of the car, we thought about how we were going to get a piece of rock.

"Okay, so when we go to Alice Springs we will sleep for the night then go to Uluru the next day," Sheera said, confirming the details with us.

"Yep," Olivia-Jolie and I both say.

"Come on girls lets go," Sheera's mum called, who was already sitting in the front next to the taxi driver.

"Wait, I need to say goodbye to Fifi," Sheera said going to her dog who was sitting at the front door with the dog caretaker next to her.

"Goodbye Fifi," she waved goodbye as she hopped in the car with us in there and we headed off to the airport.

At the airport, we headed through all the stations and sat down on chairs as we waited to board the plane. Once our flight was called we headed to the gate and entered the plane. We sat on a three seated row with Sheera's mother on the other row next to us. 

"Well, we have three hours," I say as I looked at the screen in front of me, but Olivia-Jolie and Sarah had already started watching something. 

3 hours later.

We all exited the plane and entered a taxi which led us to our hotel room. 

"I'm so happy!" Sheera exclaimed looking around the place as we entered our hotel. Sheera had always wanted to go somewhere in the Northern Territory and here she was.

"Yeah, we can tell," Olivia-Jolie and I said smiling at our cheery friend.

We got our key to our hotel room and entered. There was a table at the entrance with a kettle. Next to the table, there was a bathroom. On the other side, there was a cupboard with.  As we kept walking we saw two double beds with white sheeting and a TV at the front of the room with a couple of sofas on the side. In the middle of the two sofas, there was a balcony.

"This is a nice room," Olivia-Jolie said looking around the place.

"Yeah it's quite nice, now put all of your stuff away, we will be looking for a place to eat." Sheera's mum said, opening her suitcase and placing clothes on the bed. "Okay now that we have all packed let's head out." 

We walked around the area and saw a seafood restaurant, a Thai restaurant, A fast-food restaurant. We couldn't decide where to eat until we came across a pizza restaurant. 

"Pizza!" We all said together.

"Okay, let's go." Sheera's mum replied.

We ordered a vegetarian pizza, half a pizza of pepperoni and half a pizza of cheesy Garlic. Once we ate our dinner we headed back to our hotel room and watched a bit of TV. After that, we went to bed for the night. As I was sleeping I kept hearing a strange voice in my head.

"Sarah...Sarah..." I woke up and looked around the hotel. Olivia-Jolie was sleeping and so were Sheera and her mum. I tried to go back to sleep but whenever I tried, I just heard the voice again saying. "Sarah...Sarah..." There was nothing I could do about it. I couldn't feel sleepy anymore, so I decided to brush my teeth again and hope that I would hopefully feel sleepy. As I was brushing my teeth I could see something strange in the mirror. The shower curtain behind me kept moving. I looked at it closely in the mirror and noticed two odd circles which were similar to eyes. I spat out my toothpaste and realised that I wasn't alone in the bathroom. I turned around and saw that there weren't any circles. I opened the shower curtain and just saw a bathtub and a shower. I looked around for anything suspicious until I felt something slimy grab my foot. I looked down and noticed a black tentacle, and I knew that it could only have been Oktabrith.
