Body Double
Jameson stood in front of the, still broken, vending machine deciding which snacks he would take today. It didn't take a minute for Betty who was with Kevin, Archie and the new girl, to looks back at him. "Stealing more from the school Mr. Caulfield?" She said with a smile.
Jameson quickly spun around holding a bag of chips, "it's only stealing if you are caught Coop."
Kevin and the others laughed slightly, but Veronica was the first to speak. "And who pretell may you be?"
Jameson slowly walked over the group with his bag of chips, "Jameson Caulfield, photographer, amature crime solver and connoisseur of snack stealing."
Veronica just gave her smile, as usual and held out her hand, "Veronica Lodge." She then points across from her, "and that over there is Archiekins."
Jameson shook her hand, and gave a small wave to Archie, not forgetting him from the night of the dance. "Pleasure to meet you both." Turning his attention back to Betty, "you still doing that thing with the Blue and Gold?"
Betty nodded and quickly wrote down the room number on a piece of paper, "yea, we are meeting there after school."
Jameson grabbed it and proceeded to shove it in his pocket, "I'll be there."

After school, Jameson glanced at the paper one last time just to make sure, "327." He would repeat back before looking up and already seeing someone in the door, who took a glance out and then back in.
"If print journalism is dead, what am I doing here?" The kid with the beanie said to Betty, who was leaning over one of the dusty desks.
"The Blue and Gold isn't dead Juggie, it's just... dormant." She said as she wiped some dust from a typewriter.
Jameson was already leaning in the doorway at this point, sense Jughead had moved. "It only becomes alive once again, when someone captures the illustration behind the story being written."
Jughead and Betty both looked, and Betty nodded in agreement "exactly, this will be the group to wake it up. Jughead, you are already writing a novel about Jason Blossoms death."
Jughead replied looking back out the door, "Riverdale's very own In Cold Blood." He said peering through a magnifying glass back towards Betty.
Jameson started to walk in by that point, "which did start out as a series of articles. I'm with Betty on this one." He looks over at her, "if you are as good at writing as she says."
Jughead sighed and looked at them both, "I just don't think writing for the school paper is the right use for my voice."
Betty just rolled her entire head and pushed off the desk, "Juggie.. Jason's death changed Riverdale.. people don't wanna admit that but, it's true, we all feel it. I didn't think anything bad was gonna happen, but it did, and I wanna know why."
Jameson just nodded again in agreement, "yea, Riverdale is changing, if high schoolers are being shot. It's best if high schoolers find out why."
Jughead just turned back towards the door for the third time, "do I get complete freedom?"
"I'll help, and edit." Jughead started to look like he knew that would come up, "but other then that it's your story, your voice."
"And I'll be there to throw in some pictures." Jameson decided to cut in.
Jughead just gave a cheeky smile, "it doesn't sound like complete freedom, but. I'm in!"
Jameson nodded and started to walk beside Jughead, "I second that."
