We got on the bus and as soon as we did, I went straight to the back room and pulled down the privacy door at the top of the frame. I could hear all of them whispering about what happened.
"Alex come out of there. We just wanna talk to you." Ashlen said while knocking on the door. I almost went out just so I could hold her... I couldn't stand it anymore. I needed to make her mine. I wanted her to know how I really felt about her. I lifted the door up.
"You can come in. But just you." I mumbled to her while looking at my feet. She walked in and sat the corner where she slept. God she was amazing... She's much less shy around us all now. She's acting a bit more like she usually would I'm guessing. So punk rock and confident. Not to mention hilarious. I pulled the door back down.
"So what did you wanna talk about Alex?" she asked in a lingering voice.
"Well..... Ashlen you know I like you right?" I said nervously. I was staring at the ground this whole time.
"Yeah of course! You're like my best friend." she said cheerfully. But then her smile kind of disappeared a little. She tried to hide it.
"What wrong Ash?" I questioned while looking up at her. She looked up at me with a fake smile.
"Nothing. I... I'm fine..." she stuttered.
"Ashlen you're lying. Just tell me. Please," I begged her. I hated seeing her like that.
"Its just... I know you wouldn't want someone like me. I'm just some girl that when to your concert. I'm nothing special..." she mumbled while looking at her feet. She pulled her knees up to her chest and hugged them. I walked over to her and put her on my lap. I hugged her for what seemed like a long time. Finally I turned her head to mine and looked her in the eyes.
"Ashlen you mean everything to me. You aren't just 'a girl'. You are THE girl. The reason I even did that extra song was so I could meet you. I saw you out in the crowd and just knew that you were amazing. I knew I would fall for you. And I knew that I would do anything to make you mine. I love you. And I'll do anything to protect you and keep you safe." I slipped my hand behind her neck and pulled her lips to mine. I pulled her body close and just held her as I kissed her. She had her hands around my neck. Then Kris walked in.
"Well than.... I'll uh.. Just be uh.... Oh is that Felix? I think Felix is calling me! I'll just go." he said while blushing and backing out of the room. He was just about to completely shut the door when Mikey interrupted with, "Uh Bro remember Felix left?" Kris snapped his head back at him and 'tried' to whisper "Man shut up!.." them he continued to mumble something I couldn't understand.
"What a dork" Ashlen said while laughing. She looked back at me and smiled.
"So uh.... Does this mean we're dating?" I asked. God I'm such an idiot. She kisses me gently.
"I'll be taking that as a yes," I said while blushing lightly. This was without a doubt, one of the best moments of my life.
