Chapter 2

A few days later
There was a knock at the door, Rosie answered it to see a rather tall and handsome business man standing on her porch " Hey....Rosie right?" She nodded.
" can I help you?" Rosie asked.
" I was talking to your friend.....Beth at the bar the other night after you had gone and Tanya had gone home and this friend mentioned that I might find Tanya here?" Rosie finally realised who he was.
" Oh Yes well Tanya's out at the moment but you're welcome to come in and wait for her"Brandon smiled " that would be great thank you"  Rosie moved  a side and gestured for Brandon to follow her  into the lounge but Rosie suddenly stopped when she saw Tanya's bras and clutter everywhere.
" OMG have you been burgled" Brandon asked poking his head into the living room.
" oh that no...never mind that it's Tanya's bloody mess how about we get a drink?" Brandon nodded.
They walk into the kitchen " what can I get you?." Rosie's asked " I'd love some water please" Brandon say politely
"so why are you here?" Rosie asked handing Brandon a glass of cold water.
" well after the other night I just couldn't stop thinking about Tanya and so here I am wanting to know more" Brandon shrugged.
" do you think Tanya will belong? It's just I have a meeting soon. Can I give you a business card to give to her?, it's got my personal number and work number on there" Brandon says handing over a card to Rosie.

Half an hour later Tanya walked to the front door and opened the door and walked weakly towards the kitchen which was just down the hall. Tanya took a deep breath and walked quietly as she could not wanting to really speak to anyone but luck wasn't on her side today because she heard her friends voice speaking to someone on the phone.

Tanya walked into the kitchen and over to the fridge leaving the door open and grabbed a drink unaware that her friend was at the dining table with a guest. Tanya took the top off the bottle and took a sip with her back to Rosie and her guest when Tanya shut the fridge door and turned round she spat the drink out in shock and the water droplets from Tanya's mouth went over her Rosie's guest.

"Tanya, that was really unnecessary and rather unlady like" Brandon got up trying to wipe the water off his now wet T-shirt which was sticking to his skin and revealed his rather toned and slender torso and muscular arms.

"I'm so sorry but what are doing here?" Tanya rushed over and handed Brandon and a tea towel, Tanya blushed slightly looking into Brandon's  piercing blues eyes.

"Tanya what's gotten into you?"

"Honestly it's okay and perfectly alright Rosie " Brandon smiled at Tanya who smiled back.

Rosie watched as Brandon and Tanya smiled at each other, they clearly had chemistry and Rosie had found her mission to make Brandon Tanya's next possible a husband and it couldn't hurt pushing Brandon and Tanya together and the fact that Brandon would be a rather good addition to her reputation and will protect her with his strong arms and would look good with Tanya on his arm.

"I am so sorry again about well you know...well I'll leave you to it, bye," Tanya said smirking at Brandon who winked at Tanya and Rosie had a smirk on her face. Tanya went to walk out the Kitchen.

"Tanya? Brandon, he is possibly your new husband " Tanya was in shock.

"Brandon this is my best friend Tanya, who I was telling you about even though you already each other"

"Hi" Brandon smiled at Tanya who smiled weakly back at him.

"I know what you're doing Rosie , I'm not going out with him. " Tanya pointed at Brandon.

"Tanya !, don't be so bloody rude" Rosie snapped.

"I'm not being rude, I am just fed up with you trying to set me up with people lately and I am sure that or shall I say that I know Brandon here is very nice but, it's just not going to happen so, goodbye Rosie" Tanya glanced at Brandon who was smirking at Tanya who gave a small smile back.

Tanya walked out of the kitchen and turned to look behind her to see her best friend looking down at her coffee and Brandon looked up and smiled brightly at Tanya.
