Chapter 18

Tanya woke to loud screaming, Tanya groaned turning over "Make them stop" Tanya groaned to Brandon who just groaned.

Tanya nudged him in the ribs "Brandon" Brandon just turned over in his sleep.

"Brandon" Tanya said louder.

"Hmmm" was the reply she good back from a sleeping Brandon.

"ugh" Tanya groaned chucking the bed covers back with force so, they were now on top of Brandon who was oblivious.

Tanya stretched yawned and opened her bedroom door wiping the sleep out of her eyes as, she walked along the corridor towards the sound of the screaming children.

"Jackson, I was watching that" Tanya heard Maddie moan as she walked down the corridor.

Tanya turned the corner "I said give it back Jackson" Maddie yelled at her brother who had a smirk on his lips.

"Make me" he said rather cocky like and Maddie rushed after her brother.

"Jackson..." Maddie screamed running over to her brother.

"HAHA you can't Get it"

"What, is going on here?" Tanya said with sleep still clearly audible in her voice."Me and your father were trying to sleep" Tanya said softly

"sorry...but, Jackson wont give me back the remote" Maddie said stamping her foot with her arms neatly folded across her chest.

"Jackson, let Maddie watch her show and then it's your turn" Jackson sighed " Fine.. here" Jackson chucked the remote which hit Maddie in the chest.

"Ouch" Maddie said holding back the tears.

"Jackson, apologise to your sister now!" Tanya pionted her finger at Jackson who rolled his eyes "Sorry" He said sarcastically.

"Are you alright sweetheart?" Tanya bent down to Maddie's level to look at her daughter who nodded.

"right, sit and I don't want tp hear a peep out of you both" Tanya demanded.

Maddie jumped onto the sofa with a bright smile on her face with the remote clutched tightly in her little hand whilst Jackson stomped over to the sofa and sulked.

Tanya shook her head and walked into the large open plan kitchen and started making herself a coffee and breakfast for Jackson and Maddie.

Jackson looked over at his sister then at his mother who had her back turned and Jackson stretched out his legs kicking Maddie.

"Hey" Maddie moaned quickly turning to look at her mother who was busy in the kitchen. Maddie kicked Jackson back.

they both continued to kick each other behind Tanya's  back untill she turned round to see them both fighting again.

"Will you too pack it in" Tanya yelled.

" what's going on here" Brandon said walking into the lounge/kitchen.

"dad Jackson is kicking me" Maddie moaned.

"Jackson leave your sister alone" Brandon said walking over to Tanya kissing her on the cheek.

"Don't just tell me off dad, tell her off too" Jackson said pointing to Maddie who stick her tongue out.

"How about both of the stop that right now" Tanya said sternly to them both.

Tanya was busy doing her usual morning routine when she looked up at the time realising what time it was Tanya grabbed a sleeping Lolly and jumped into the car and headed to the school. Pulling up in empty space, took Lolly out of the car and put her in the buggy and locked the car then walked over to the school, and stood with the other moms. Maddie was the first to come out, Maddie saw her mother with her baby sister "Mommy" she ran over to her mother and wrapped her arms round her tight Tanya returned the hug while picking up Maddie "Hey sweetie, how was school today?" Tanya put Maddie back down and took her school bag and hung it on the buggy  "it was good I drew you a painting so you can put it up" Maddie said with a excitement in her eyes with a toothy smile upon her face as she looked at her mother
