Proud akong pumalakpak nang makita kong umakyat ng stage si Sai for his Magna Cum laude speech. Kakatapos lang ng graduation ko last week at mga Architecture Department naman ang gagraduate ngayon.

We have our future ahead of us. Masaya ako para kay Sai sa kabila nang pagiging bugnutin nito sa pag-aaral noong high school pa lang kami ay eto siya, Magna Cumlaude na.

Meron na rin siyang trabahong naghihintay sa New York at siguro next month ay aalis na ito.

I'm sad, of course, mapapalayo ako sa lalaking pinakamamahal ko pero kung kami talaga... Kami talaga.

Life will always have its surprises, but something is for sure. It will always teach you lessons to ponder, either the easy way or the hard way.

I started to record a video of Sai saying his speech.

"Life for me was... boring."

He's keeping it cool and he just stared at me while talking confidently. My Simon.

"I didn't have any goals, any priorities or even dreams. I have a perfect life but it lacks something. Something i found before i graduated in fourth year high school.

Life wasn't perfect.

There will always be some days that you'll feel alone, hopeless, sad, devastated or miserable. But there will always be that someone who will cheer you up, lift your hopes up and will accept you no matter who or what you are.

As we get older, we will lose something or someone but always keep in your mind, that there will always be hope for us to move forward.

Yes. Maybe. I need someone. I need someone like Gwen Quiambao in my life, i need my parents and my friends. I need someone who will help me find the real me so that someday i will be the someone to help some other one."

Yes, Sai. You are my soulmate. You helped me build a better version of me. You always bring the best out of me.

"And i hope, for my fellow graduates, that you find that someone and forever hold on to them. Because me, i already have mine.

Congratulations, everyone and always live life to the fullest!" he showed that crooked smile of his proudly.

I know this love is the right one. You should choose someone not because you feel good when you are with them, choose someone who will bring out the best version of yourself.

As for me, Sai is that someone.

Tumakbo ako papunta sa kanya at agad niya akong binuhat na para bang walang ibang tao doon.

"I'm so proud of you, Sai!" nang binaba niya ako ay agad ko siyang pinugpog ng halik sa pisngi.
