Sidney's POV

I was curled up in a corner with tears running down my face. I recived kick after kick. Slap after slap and punch after punch. After one more kick he left. I took the chance and went up to my room. I went to bed hoping that tomorrow would be better.

I woke up and put on some skinny jeans and a hoodie that used to be my big brother's. I miss Jarod.

I grabbed my phone and headohones before walking out the door with my bag.

I put my headphones on playing some music on my way to school. I had only one friend and people just ignore us so that was pretty good. I never know why but she calls me by my middle name. Lee.

"Lee!"

"Rea!"

She came and hugged me carefully cause she knows about the abuse.

"You know everything we talked about right?"

"Yeah. If you don't show up then your brother came back and got you."

"Bingo. Plus I would let you know."

"Only cause I'm your best friend."

We laughed and walked in school.

*****time skip to after school****

"See you later Rea."

"See you later Lee."

I walked toward my house hoping and praying that my parents aren't there. But as I got closer I saw a strange black van and my parents car. Shit.

I ran in and saw my brother and parents yelling. He came over to me and grabbed my arm dragging me to the strange van.

Six other people came out and helped him get me into the van. Then they got in after me and Jarod.

"Sidney, I'm sorry for leaving you with them."

I shrugged and texted Rea.

"Sid answer me."

"I don't go by Sid. I go by my middle name."

"Lee?"

"Yeah."

"Sidney Lee. I'm sorry."

"I know and it's fine."

"Are you sure?"

"Of course I'm sure Jarod."

I gave him a hug porving it.

"You do realize you basically kidnapped me?"

"Yeah I'll be eighteen soon. So there shouldn't be a problem."

"If you waited any longer I would be dead."

"What do you mean?"

"Dad beat me."

"Well he won't anymore."

"So who are these people?"

"The driver is the gang leader, Shawn, the one in the passenger seat is his younger brother Shane. The one on your right is one of the twins Dallan and the one behind him is his twin brother Jaron. The one behind you is Mason and then the one behind me is Dave."

"Hi."

"We finally have a really hot girl in the gang!"

"Shut up Mason!"

He shrugged as I turned to look at him.

"You are one strange person."

"Thanks babe."
