Sidney's POV
It's been an hour since Shawn went chasing after that dude. Dallan and Rea have gotten pretty close in that amount of time but I'm pacing back and forth.
"He's fine Sidney."
"How do you know? He could be bleeding out in an alley and you aren't the slightest bit worried?!"
"Nope. This isn't the first time."
I sighed and sat down a nervous wreck. I heard the door open and I ran to see who it was.
"Shawn."
I ran and jumped into his arms not letting go.
"I'm okay Sidney. I promise."
I just nodded and hugged him tighter. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to him.
"I love you Shawn."
He froze for a bit before relaxing.
"I love you too Sidney."
I smiled and kissed his cheek. He chuckled and pressed his lips to mine. I smiled and pulled away.
"It's late and you have school tomorrow. Let's go to bed."
"Luckily it was break."
"What school do you go to?"
"The same one as Rea."
"Oh."
"Yeah."
"Well you have school tomorrow."
"Okay okay. I'm going to bed. Gosh you're such a dad."
"Whatever."
"Whatever he says what if I don't go to bed."
"Sidney."
"Yes?"
"I heard that."
"I heard that."
"Are you mocking me?"
"I'm not mocking myself."
He took of toward the stairs so I started running up them and to Shane's room.
"Shane! Your brother's gonna kill me!"
"Shawn, don't kill your girlfriend!"
I saw him in the hall and I ran behind him.
"Move Shane."
"As long as you don't kill your girlfriend I'll move."
"I'm not gonna kill her."
"Sorry Sidney."
"No you aren't."
I took off and ran into my room and dove under the bed.
"Sidney, I know you're under your bed."
"No I'm not."
"How much you wanna bet."
"Nothing."
I slid out and looked up at Shawn who had a smirk on his face. I smiled sweetly at him. His tough faced fell and he came over picking me up. He wrapped his arms around my waist hugging me to him.
"Let's go to bed yeah?"
"Yeah."
I climbed under the covers and watched as Shawn removed his shirt. He soon laid down next to me before pulling me to his bare chest.
