Thanksgiving!!

Sidney's POV

I woke up earlier than usual and ran down to Jarod's room. I opened the door and crawled on his bed before jumping on it.

"J wake up."

"Go back to bed Sid."

"No we have to go get stuff for thanksgiving."

"Just one more hour please."

"No. Now."

He groaned and pulled me down next to him and closed his eyes.

"Jarod. Jarod. Jarod."

"What Sid."

"Wake the fuck up."

"Must you be so difficult?"

"Yes. Always."

"Fine go get ready and be in the kitchen in thirty minutes."

"Yay!"

He laughed and got up before pointing to the door. I laughed and ran out and up to my room. I was about to walk in when Shawn walked out of his room. He looked over at me with a questioning look.

"Where were you?"

"Waking Jarod up."

"Why?"

"It's a family tradition for me to wake him up the day before Thanksgiving so we can go get stuff for the dinner. But it stopped when he left and she died."

"Well I guess we can all go and it can become a tradition for everyone."

I smiled and gave Shawn a huge hug before skipping into my room to get ready. I heard him bang on Shane's door and tell him to get up.

I quickly got dressed in a red shirt and some black leggings before throwung my hair in a braid. I slipped on some shoes and ran downstairs where everyone was waiting.

"Let's go."

I went to run outside but a pair of arms wrapped themselves around me. I turned around and smiled up at the owner of them.

"Are you coming or not?"

"Of course I'm coming. I just want to wait for everyone else to walk out and head to the store."

I laughed and looked back tonsee everyone gone.

"Now let's go."

"Whatever you say princess."

I rolled my eyes and got into his car before he caught me again. He got in the car and leaned over and gave me a quick kiss before driving off to the store. The whole time I was bouncing in my seat since I love Thanksgiving.

"Calm down princess. It's not even Thanksgiving day."

"But it is my favorite holiday. Families together and everyone playing games with smiles on their faces, it's like Christmas but without the gifts."

"So it's like being able to spend time with the family without giving them something new but just to be there with them is what you're saying?"

"Exactly what I'm saying."

"Well I never looked at it that way."

"Well now you will."

He gave me an award winning smile and stopped the car.

"Well let's go get some food for Thanksgiving dinner."

I smiled and got outside waiting for Shawn. It felt like forever until he got out of the car. I grabbed his hand and dragged him into the store where everyone was waiting.
