Shane's POV

Shawn walked in the office and looked at me with anger. I understand why he wanted to speak in the office. He didn't want Sidney to see the angry side of him.

"Shane, you should have seen the way Danny looked after you left. He looked like his own dad, who is supposed to love and support him, punched him in the gut. And we both know how that feels. How it feels to be betreyed by your own father. The hurt was so clear that a blind person could see it."

In all honesty I didn't think of his feelings. I was so busy trying not to cry and trting to protect myself that I dorgot to think about how he would feel about my actions and words. But it's true. Shawn and I know the pain of our dad betraying us. Before mom died, we were the perfect family. No problems at all. But when she died dad changed, ecerything changed. Dad was a cruel man. Shawn took the worst of his anger since he looks more like mom. He also got the blame.

I took Julie's and my share if his anger. I didn't want her to know the pain of being hit by the person who has been there for you. But he was different a year before he died. He went back to the way he was when mom was alive. Shawn and I were hesitant of him but not Julie. Which is what we wanted. She was always happy. The day we decided to forgive dad was the day he died. Before he died he said sorry and he loved us. We all cried.

"Shane?"

I looked up at my brother with tears running down my face.

"I'm so fucking stupid. I just ruined my friendship. I was trying so hard to keep my walls up and keep myself from crying but instead I hurt my friend. I didn't think about how he would feel."

"Shane, I don't want you to end up how I was. Just let people see the broken side of you. If you do that then so will I. We can tell them about our past together."

"He probably doesn't want to see me after that. I wish mom and dad were still alive."

"Me too Shane. Me too."

He wrapped his arms around my shoulders while I cried. I held onto his arm like my life depended in it.

"Come on buddy. Let's go."

"Shawn?"

"What?"

"You never call me buddy."

"That wasn't me."

"Then who was it?"

"Who else would it be boys?"

We both shot up and behind Shawn's desk and looked at the two people in shock.

"You aren't real. We watched you get shot."

"Well we aren't, we just decided to make ourselves present. You see, I know what your dad did and he never meant to. He didn't know how what he was doing at the time. But Shane and Shawn Murdock you two vefter get down there and fix whatever it is or so help me when I see you two again I will ground you two for a whole year."

"How are we seeing this?"

"Anyone can see it as long as we decide it is the time. Niw we have to go. But remember, we love you guys so much."

We nodded and watched as they faided away.

"You heard her. Go fix it."

I laughed and we walked downstairs to tell both of them everything. I'm sure we were imagining things. But it was probably a good thing. I walked downstairs and to the room Sidney was in.

"Danny, can we talk?"

"Sure."

Shawn's POV

I watched Danny and Shawn walk out. I closed the door and went and sat by Sidney. I pressed my lips to hers, loving the feeling of kissing her. I pulled away and kissed her nose, cheeks and forehead.

"I love you so much Sidney."

"I love you too Shawn."

I laid my head by her side and closed my eyes. She ran her hand through my hair. I smiled and carefully wrapped my arm around her waist. Soon enough I was close to being asleep, until Shane came in laughing.

"Guys guess who has his best friend back."

"You, now shut the hell up." I said before a hand connected with the back of my head.

I pouted and rubbed where Sidney hit me and playfully glared at her. She hit really hard. Like fucking hell it fells like getting hit in the shin with a metal pipe.

"Be nice."

I smiled slightly and continued to rub my head.

"Yes I got my best friend back. And the doctor said Sidney is good to go. So I say we should go out for ice cream as a celebration."

Sidney nodded her head eagerly and Julie walked in with some clothes for her.

"We are going shopping tomorrow okay?"

"Okay."

She walked out and Sidney pushed all of us out of the room. She shut the door and I went to go change into some clothes to go out in. I put on a black shirt and some jeans and tied ulmy shoes becore walking out. Sidney was sitting beside Danny and Shane looking at her phone.

"Don't do that Shane."

"Fine."

"What are you guys playing?"

"Pubg."

I rolled my eyes and motioned to the door.

"Pubg can wait. We are going to get some ice cream."

They groaned and turned off the game. In all honesty, I don't see the point in Pubg and Fortnite. They are both pretty stupid games. They can find better games than that. But it's what they like so I have to deal with it. I wrapped my hand around Sidney's and watched as Shane and Danny whispered about something. They would laugh every now and then but it made me curious.

Thye looked back and laughed again. Then they high fived which made me more suspicious about what they were talking about.

"You two aren't planning a prank are you?"

"Maybe."

Oh boy. Here we go again.
