"cameron!" regan called from downstairs. "what!" "i'm going to marcel's!"

i heard the door shut; i didn't mean to plan a hangout with cam the same day she was going to marcel's.

we both had controllers in our hands, playing fifa. "life's kinda crazy." cameron said after a couple a moments.

"tell me about it."

"like, i just can't believe we have fans and stuff," he laughed a little with a smile. "i don't know. i still can't process we toured. you probably have to get used to it, though."

i smiled a little, glancing over. we played for a little, just yelling shit about the game, before he talked again.

"yo, do you and regan have a thing?" he asked and i didn't look away from the screen. "what?" "maybe i'm imagining it, but she just seems so much happier lately."

my heart fluttered and i could feel myself start to smile. "she talks about you a lot, too. she always be like 'did you know shawn is doing, blah blah blah.' i don't know."

"uh, no, we don't have a thing," i smiled, faintly. "she's chill though."

"i don't know how she would act if she had a boyfriend," he laughed a little. "but i could imagine it would be like this."

"what do you mean you don't know?" he shrugged. "she's never had one." "really?"

he looked at me kinda weird as my face fell. "yeah, why? you didn't know that?"

"i mean, she's pretty so i just kinda of figured."

"i just think she's really good at picking people out," it made my stomach erupt in butterflies realizing everything. "whoever she picks must be really great, so."

i nodded, still staring at the tv and trying to hide a smile.

i laid on my bed, a large grin on my face. i unlocked my phone and went onto imessage.

me: regannn
me: why didn't you tell me i was ur first boyfriend??
me: cam told me that u never had one

angel: i mean
angel: i guess it never came up??
angel: idk i didn't want u to think i was lame or anything , anyway lol

me: it made me really happy for some reason
me: like just knowing that i'm doing things with u for the first time
me: i wouldn't have known
me: but i'm kinda nervous cause i don't want to mess up.

angel: well so far you've been perfect
angel: it's only been a week and a half
angel: but still super perfect

me: i love you

angel: i love youu.
