I woke up from my nightmare. There was no one in my hospital room. It was just a bad dream. I couldn't remember anything that had happened in it.
A nurse came into my room. She brushed her strawberry blonde hair out of her face and gripped her clipboard.
"Hello Princess," she smiled. Just call me Cadence. I thought to myself. "The doctor says you recovered well and you can go home early."
I sighed with relief. "Thank you."

I was dressed in the outfit I was attacked in. I looked like a mess considering I was locked up in a hospital for the past week.
My driver, Jimmy dropped me off at my castle. I made my way up the steps. When I opened the door I was greeted by my parents and also a young lady who I didn't recognize.
We're sorry we couldn't visit you in the hospital, honey. We were on a business trip." My father apologized.
"It's okay. It wasn't that big of a deal." I shrugged it off.
"Yes it is! A wild animal attacked you!" The young lady exclaimed. She was rather tall, very skinny, and she was blonde. She also had a good taste in fashion.
"Cadence this is Mallory. She is going to replace Mrs. Clementine." My mother said.
Mallory stuck her hand out to me. I shook it awkwardly.
"I still think Mrs. Clementine should look after me. Besides isn't she kind of young?" I asked.
"Mallory is my royal brother's daughter. She is twenty one. She is very mature for her age and has volunteered to take care of you. You should be appreciative. She is your cousin." My father said.
"I didn't know I had a cousin!" I ran up and hugged her. She was startled at first but hugged me back. We released each other.
"So you're a princess to?" I asked Mallory.
"Yes. But I was able to convince my parents to look after you. I can tell we're going to be great friends. I've also discussed with your parents to let you have more freedom. So you can go out with your friends more." She smiled.
"Thank you! So much! Speaking of that... Ethan wanted to take me out to dinner tonight to celebrate my getting out of the hospital and being well."
"Who's Ethan?" She leaned into me intrigued.
"My boyfriend!" We both started giggling.
My father cleared his throat. "Your curfew is nine."
"Oh Richard, just let her have the night." My mother held onto his arm.
"Fine."
Mallory and I ran up to my bed room to prepare for my date.
"So what's Ethan like?" Mallory rummaged through my closet looking for an outfit for me to wear.
"Mesmerizing," It was the first word that popped in my mind.
She turned around and gave me a weird look.
"Uh, I don't know why I said that." I laughed it off. "He's charming, he cares for me, and he loves me. I love him."
"Careful with that word, hun. I've had plenty of experiences to know that guys don't always mean that."
