The Nightmare Next Door

**1 month later**

So over this last month Davin & I have gotten really close. I went to court & I got 2 months probations so I cant fucck up or im going to jail. I havent been feeling all that well but i keep brushing it off. Its not fair tho I been doing good this WHOLE month I havent been in no fights, I havent cursed nobody out. Im actually quite proud of myself. It takes alot not to snap on these bitcches but im being the bigger person. Today is Saturday & I didnt wanna be in the house so I asked Shawn could I use his car. He said yeah & I was out the door before I pulled off I noticed Davin car wasnt in his driveway but whatever I didnt think nothing of it. I went got my nails & feet done then I went & got my hair done. I got it sewed in with wavy brazilian 20' 22' & 24' so I was down my back. Now I was on my way to the mall. I got to admit im really feeling myself right now. I had on some black shorts they werent super tight but they showed my curves & i had on my black & white cheetah print shirt & some with sandles. Oh yeah & I had the purse to match my shirt. My outfit was simple but I was still cute. I walked in the mall & everywhere I went people were staring at me. I really hate when people stare at me like damnn ion mind you looking but dont fuccking stare at me if I wanted to be stared at I wouldve came in here naked damnn. But ima keep my cool cause im doing good. After I hit up a couple of stores ( footlocker, wetseal, holister, & forever 21 ) I was hungry so I went to the food court & got a burger & some fries. I was eating my food & looking into my phone when I felt like someone was staring at me. I looked up & I seen Davin. He was with this girl & she looked like she related to somebody ive seen before but I wasnt even stressing it. I was looking him dead in his eyes & thats when he looked away. Mhm whatever I cant even be mad tho because we not together yeah we fuccked a couple of time but he aint my man we just friends or atleast I thought we were if we were really friends he wouldve told me he had a girl. I was quickly snapped out of my thoughts when someone sat down in front of me. He was cute, he had dreads he had 4 golds to the bottom & he was a nice brownskin color & he smelled good.

Him: Hi im Kareem.

Me: Umm Hi im Shaniya

Kareem: Well Shaniya I couldnt help but notice you were sitting alone & you have quite alot of bags. Do you need a hand?

Me: No thanks actually I was leaving away ( i lied ) I can handle these bags but thanks for offering.

Kareem: No problem.

He got up & walked away I felt myself blushing but I dont know why. When I looked up Davin was now staring at me again. I got up grabbed my bags & continued shopping. I went into a couple more stores & now I could barely hold all theses bags. I was trying to make my way to the entrance when I heard someone laughing

Kareem: Need help?

Me: Yes I actually do

Kareem: Well I would help but you lied to me. You told me you were leaving.

Me: I just needed to get a couple more things.

Kareem: Looks like more than a couple to me.

I looked down at the bags. He was right it was way more than a couple.

Me: Well

I began to walk away because I was really getting annoyed. He then grabbed some bags so now we both had equal amounts of bags.

Me: Thanks

Kareem: You welcome

 Then I noticed something strange.

Me: You at the mall but I dont see you with no bags

Kareem: I didnt see nothing I liked.

Me: Oh ok

We reached my brother car & put the bags in I said thank you again & we went our seperate ways.

I went home brung my bags in the house gave Shawn his keys & went to sleep. When I woke up the next morning Shawn was gone & my side was hurting bad af. I just thought I was hungry so I went & made me something to eat that didnt stop the pain. So I just went & ran me some hot bath water I sat in the tub for atleast a hour & a half & the pain only got worse. & Shawn still wasnt back yet so I got out the tub & was drying off when the door bellrung I put on a oversized shirt & made my way downstairs. Me being in so much pain I didnt even think to look in the peep hole I just opened the door.

Davin: Shaniya can we.. You OK?

Damnn was it really that obvious that im in pain

Me: Yeah im fine what you want

I was kinda annoyed cause I just wanna lay down

Davin: Naw bae you not OK ima take you to the hospital

Me: Dont fuccking call...

Before I could finish my sentence he had already picked me up & was taking me to his car. I wasnt even in the mood to try & argue I was already weak.

** A hour & a half later ** The doctor walks into the room.   Doctor: Hello Shaniya im Dr.Grey & the test that we have run came back. Unfortunely you have a kidney infection & it is putting you & the baby in danger.   Wait what did he just say baby?   Me: Wait Dr. baby? Im not pregnant   Doctor: Yes you are I have the results right here.   He showed me paper & it said positive. I IMMEDIATELY started to cry.   Doctor: We gonna keep you here a couple more hours & we gonna give you some medicine that will have you & the baby back healthy within the couple hours.  

He walked out the room. I just sat there crying. Him saying baby just kept echoing in my head. Davin didnt say a word the whole time. The nurse came in & put some medicine in my IV I started to cry even harder like this shiit is actually happening this is real. How am I gonna tell Shawn? How would my parents have felt? I cried the whole time they kept me there. Davin didnt say a word or attempt to comfort me. They discharged me & gave me some medicine to keep taking. They whole car ride home was silent besides the fact that I was crying. We pulled up to my house I wiped my face & got out the car & just walked in the house & went str8 to my room locked the door & cried myself to sleep.

**DAVIN P.O.V**

FUUCK MAN ! I yelled as I threw shitt around me room. I went to Shaniya house to come clean about me having a baby & that the girl she seen me with at the mall was my babymomma & tell her that aint shiit going on between me & her but I could tell something was wrong with her so I take her to the hospital & now she pregnant. WTF ima do with another baby? Dont get me wrong I love my daughter Angel but its just right now im not ready for another kid. Shaniya cried the whole time. I was so many emotions going through me I couldnt even say nothing. The only time she stopped crying was when she was getting out the car to go in the house. FUUCK ! I yelled again I need to clear my mind. I smoked 2 joints & then went to sleep. I woke up got dressed for school washed my face brushed my teeth & all that stuff & I was out the door. When I got out the car I seen Shawn & the crew I dapped everybody up & I looked under the tree & I didnt see Shaniya. I told the crew I would be back & I left
