The male stepped into the familiar hallway, walking slowly, eyes going towards the signs.

It felt almost wrong to walk down that hallway. It felt like he didn't belong there. In a way... he just felt distant. It was so familiar yet... it was so different.

It was like there was a disconnect within himself.

A sigh left his lips as he slid open the door, stepping inside. He didn't sit in his normal seat. Instead, he went for a seat by the window towards the back. He expected to be glanced over.

But part of him wanted to be found.

He stared out the window, stretching his sleeves so they'd cover his wrist. He didn't even notice when half of the students came in. Their chatter was completely silenced when their eyes laid on him.

It had been a month.

No warning.

No notice.

No speaking.

It was like he had fallen off the end of the earth to them.

Just nothing.

But there he was.

And all there was is silence.
