His eyes were glued to them. His skin began to crawl.

Shadows danced across the empty halls. The atmosphere felt so tense you could cut it with a knife.

The fear crept up his spine, paralyzing his entire body, wrapping around his neck. It squeezed down on him, ripping the air from his lungs. It burned the insides of his lungs and his stomach flipped.
