I tried on multiple outfits and to be honest, it was tiring AF! Like why does picking out outfits have to be so damn hard!? I decided to go simple and not so revealing since I hated showing off my body. I decided to wear a blank open long-sleeved shirt and blue jean shorts. I also wore some black sandals to go with the outfit. Though it was my first ever high school party, I didn't want to look too much like every other girl there. I wanted to stand out by being myself: lazy and sorta casual!

"Cute, casual, not too revealing; I love it! Work your body girl! Own it," Addie says as she peeks her head out of the bathroom door

"Ok, show me your outfit," I say as I walk over to sit on my bed.

Addie steps out and I can't help but start to fangirl. My best friend looks gorgeous! She had a cute, black tube top on with a pair of light blue jeans with a belt and some converse high tops.

"So I take it that you like my outfit," she giggles.

"Uh DUH! How could I not? You look drop-dead gorgeous," I say as I give her a hug.

"Ok, time for makeup," she says grabbing her makeup bag and rushing to the bathroom.

I had a simple look, foundation, concealer, mascara and some lip gloss. Addie put her hair up into a cute, messy bun. Her makeup look was simple as well since she only had on foundation, concealer, winged eyeliner, and mascara.

"Are you ready," she asked turning to me with wide and excited eyes.

"Yes, let me just grab my phone really quick," I say as she nods her head and examines her hair and outfit.

"Damn. What's up with the outfit," I hear a voice say. I look up and look around until my eyes fall onto a familiar face. I walk out to the balcony as I smile and roll my eyes.

"I am going to a party. It is my first one so I wanted to try and look cute," I say as I lean on the railing.

"You don't need to try for me, sunshine," he says as he smirks and winks.

"And who said it was for you?"

"Whatever sunshine, have fun but do not get in trouble," he says as he starts to walk towards his room.
