I'm going to tell you about something that happened to me when I was 15 years old.
My mother was in hospital so my aunt and her daughter Anna came to stay with me while she went through surgery and other medical things.
My aunt told me that Anna hadn't been herself for a while, I noticed this the last time she stayed with me.
Anna refused to play with any of the toys I gave her and she refused to play with me outside. I kinda ruled it out to be that she grew shy so I left her.

A few days went by and I was going through old pictures of me and my mom. I had a collection of cameras as I had an interest in photography.
Anna walked into my room with the first smile I had seen on her face in ages. She looked at a disposable camera I had laying on my bed. "Are you using that camera?" She said softly.
I explained to her that I don't often use that camera and there was nothing on it so I happily gave it to her. "Make sure you take heaps of photos for me!" She seemed less scared now and she actually had an interest in what I was doing.
"Do you like taking pictures?" Anna looked at me with a smile on her face.
"I'm not good at taking pictures but my friend Lucy likes me to take them" I thought it was cute that she wanted to take photos for her friend. "Is Lucy a good friend? Can I meet her one day?" I asked but her smile turned to a frown. "She doesn't like meeting anyone else because I'm the only one who can see her" of course! It was an imaginary friend. "Well tell Lucy that I'd love to meet her one day" I said playing along.
I told Anna that I had to go and prepare dinner for us and she continued to play with the camera I gave her.

A few more days went by and I started to see that Anna looked sickly. "Are you feeling okay? You don't look very well"
Anna didn't reply, she sat there still playing with her camera. I'd made so much progress to get her to talk, her mom was so pleased. She had fallen back into her old ways.
Another day went by and I saw she was getting more sickly.
"Aunt Jayne? I think Anna needs to see a doctor, she looks poorly" we took her to the doctor and the doctor explained that she was fine and we went home.

A week went by and not a word came out of Anna's mouth.
"Lucy doesn't like that I'm playing with you" I was a bit alarmed because she hadn't spoken in a while. The only thing I heard her say was little inaudible whispers.
Again she got more sickly every day and we got more and more worried as the doctor explained again that she was completely fine.

Another week passes...

Anna had violently passed away while she was asleep. We found her with blood coming out of her eyes, ears and mouth. It was so horrifying and we were all shocked. Doctors couldn't explain it.
I developed the photos on the disposable camera. At first the photos were just her messing around with the camera. There were photos of her smiling and her playing with toys. I went through the photos and noticed thar a white figure was behind her. I kept going through the photos and the white figure became darker and closer to Anna. The second last photo was Of Anna and her face was filled with fear, I noticed the figure was completely black and behind her. It had a smile that filled my body with fear but it had no eyes.
I came to the last photo and it was of Me finding Anna dead on her bed. Who took this photo? The camera doesn't even have a timer on it.
I look closer at the photo and notice something that my body paralyse with fear.
The figure was standing right behind me.
