“This isn’t very fun ya know” Hotaru complained as she and Renji sat in the training arena of Uraharas’ shop “You said this was going to be fun, just the extermination of a simple hallow and they we could do whatever I wanted.”
“Will you shut up?!” Renji groaned “It’s not my fault that there’s a typhoon outside alright!”
“We could-“
“We are not going out in the typhoon Hotaru” Renji rejected before she could even suggest the idea.
“Well then what is there for us to do?” Hotaru groaned, she was beginning to go stir crazy.
“I don’t know” Renji replied “Find a way to pass the time I guess.”
Hotaru looked down at Aisu Tora boredly, she wasn’t really in the mood to train. She sighed and then grinned, looking over at Renji with a devilish smirk. Suppressing a giggle Hotaru reached over and poked Renjis’ cheek.
“Hey what was that for?!” Renji barked.
Hotaru laughed and shrugged as she got up and stretched.
“I’m just finding a way to pass the time” she remarked then started walking away.
Renji narrowed his eyes with his own devilish smirk as he watched her walking away. Suddenly Hotaru was tackled to the ground and pinned there by Renji.
“Hey!” she exclaimed/
“Just passing the time” Renji retorted with a shrug.
Hotaru smirked up at Renji and flipped them over so that she was now on top.
“Looks like I’ve got better moves then you huh pineapple” Hotaru laughed, poking his nose then quickly running off.
“We’ll see about that” Renji muttered as he got up and chased after her.
This game of cat and mouse continued on for a while, Hotaru was very good at evading capture, until finally Renji once again tackled Hotaru to the ground. This time he straddled her that way he would remain on top and smirked as she continuously tried to flip them over once more, failing in each attempt. As Hotaru huffed and her body relaxed in defeat Renji chuckled at her.
“You know you’re cute when you’re all frustrated like that” Renji remarked causing a dark red blush to skitter across the young shinigamis’ face.
“Wh-What did you just say?” she questioned.
Renji bent down do that his lips brushed against her ear and repeated his sentence.
“I said you’re cute when you’re frustrated” he said again, lifting his head up slightly so that his face was hovering over hers.
Hotaus’ face continued to redden as she attempted to keep her cool. Her blue eyes burned into Renjis’ brown one as all the feelings she kept hidden for so long surfaced for him to see, surprisingly her feelings were mirrored in his eyes.
“Is that so” Hotaru said in a breathless tone.
“Yeah” Renji confirmed lowering himself just enough to press his lips softly into Hotarus’.
The red haired girl hesitated for a moment before kissing him back and in the brief moment of Renjis’ distraction she managed to flip them over once more, successfully pinning him.
“Looks like I still have better moves than you Renji” Hotaru said as she broke the kiss “What a shame”
She then got up and began walking away again as she laughed.
“How about I show you a few new moves then” Renji growled playfully as he quickly caught her in his arms “Hopefully you can keep up.”
“I’m a fast learner” Hotaru said as she and Renji shared an equal smirk.
Renji tripped Hotaru so that he was once again straddling her. His lips brushed against the tender flesh of her neck, causing her to gasp lightly at the burst of new feelings within her. Renjis’ hands grazed over every inch of her clothed body and as she pulled at his hair lightly he let out a pleasured soft groan.
“I know that there’s not much to do with the typhoon and all but do you two think you could maybe take it to a room” Kisuke laughed as he pulled out his fan and covered his mouth.
Hotaru and Renji both jumped up immediately with scarlet colored faces. Hotaru couldn’t even make eye contact with Kisuke as Renji grabbed her hand and pulled her past him.
“Yeah we’ll go do that” Renji said, dragging Hotaru up the ladder and leading her to his room.
