“Okay, so after you left things went back to normal. I still lived in the orphanage and everything was as if you never came. A few months passed and it was Christmas time, I helped the caretakers wrap presents for the younger kids as usual when we heard a knock on the door. I went to go open when a man pushed his way inside and went into the dining room where all the caretakers are at. I ran as fast as I could to them when another man grabbed me from behind; one hand was on my mouth and the other was around my waist. I didn’t know what to do, I just stood there with tears starting to form in my eyes. I heard my caretaker casually talking with the man who barged in. She was thanking him for coming and taking me away from there. She paid him money and walked into the hallway where I was being held against my will by the man’s partner. She looked at me with disgust and seemed happy that I was leaving the orphanage for good. Afterwards, the men threw me in the back of a car and drove off to some secluded section of town. Before they pulled me out of the car, they tied my wrists and ankles together so that I wouldn’t fight them. They covered my eyes with fabric and put rope in my mouth so that I couldn’t scream for help. I was honestly scared for my life, I didn’t know what was going to happen to me. I was carried to a building and thrown into a room. I believe the men left because the sound of their footsteps died. I then heard the car start and drive away from where I was at. I tried everything I could to get the ropes off wrists and ankles. I struggled for what seemed like hours. I crawled towards a wall, where I found broken glass everywhere on the floor. I grabbed a sharp piece and started cutting the ropes off. It took a while but I was able to free myself and look around my surroundings. I smelled smoke coming from what I believed to be the back door to this abandoned house. I walked towards it with caution and found that the kitchen was on fire. The entire house was old and looked like it was going to be covered in flames fast. I tried opening every door I could find, but they were all locked. I tried opening the windows but they were all nailed shut. The fire spread to the second floor and the ceiling started to collapse. I dove to the other side of the room just in time for the ceiling to collapse. I was having trouble breathing and the only thing I had to do to escape was jump out the window. So I ran as fast as I could and jumped through the closest window I could find. I luckily escaped the house in time before the entire building caught on fire. I ran as far as I could before the cold got to me. I was still in my star clan outfit. But there were splotches of blood all over. I looked at my left arm and saw that there was a large piece of glass going across my star. I pulled it out and saw that I was bleeding a lot. I put snow on it to help stop the bleeding and to clean it up a bit. I sat there thinking if I was going to survive the winter night without any source of warmth or protection. I sat there and fell asleep. Surprisingly I survived the night and I started to walk around figuring out where I was. I then remembered our conversation about taking me out of the orphanage and bringing me to your home. I remember you saying that you lived in Death City, so I started to head North and hope that I would find Death City. A couple years passed and I was in a town hiding in the alleys. A lot of people that I ran into would scream and start throwing things at me saying I deserve every hate going towards me. So I stayed hidden in the alleys and tried my best to avoid people. One day I ran into a group of teenage boys who were walking down the alley. They saw me and ran up to me asking if I needed any help. I declined their help mainly ‘cause if I accepted it, they would’ve found out who I was and start hurting me. I kept walking and ignoring the group of boys. One of them ran up to me and took a hold of my shoulder. He made me turn around to face him but I kept my gaze down to the ground. He asked me if there was something wrong, I didn’t reply. I became shy towards people who I don’t know. He started to shake me and tried to get me to talk. I looked at my left shoulder then shoved me to the ground. His friends ran up to him asking why he did that. He pointed to me and told them to look at my shoulder. They all gasped seeing that I was a Star Clan member. They started kicking me and throwing random garbage they could find in the alley. I fought back as much as I could, I then got up and started running away as fast as my injured legs could take me. They chased after me throwing rocks at me and screaming horrible things. I was able to get away and hide in the woods nearby. I stayed in my hiding spot for a couple nights, afraid for them coming back to kill me. I left that town and remained in the woods walking around for two more years. Time to time I would run into people, but before they recognized who I was I would run as fast as I could and hide for the night. I finally found Death City the night before I found you. I wandered around the streets looking for the DWMA. When I found it, I decided to wait until you got out of school so that we could have our annual ninja vs. assassin fight. And that’s how I found you and why I wanted to be with you again.”
