RALEIGH CARAWAY'S TEARS NEVER DRIED, and her knees were high up her chest. The pang in her chest, and the numbness in her brain was tortuous. She wanted it to end, and she didn't know if it would. She stayed in a phase of sadness, and despair. Raleigh remained alone in her apartment, filled with shattered mirrors. She broke them all in shame, leaving her with cut fingers, and feet. She couldn't bare to look at herself, and in short terms she was broken.

Sure the text messages, and calls helped her, but it was only a temporary fix. She needed something permanent, for once in her life. Something in the form of a sunshine, maybe even in the form of a person. Yet, she couldn't be with him, no matter how much she wanted to. Raleigh was not in the mental state to care for someone on that level, she'd need to learn how to love herself first.

Cody filled every corner of happiness she had left, and that by itself said a lot. He texted her whenever he could, and was the virtual shoulder she needed. They had yet to meet in person, and just at the thought of it, made everything in Raleigh warm.
