"Y'all better make some motherf*cking noise!" X and I shout jumping around on stage. We rap the lyrics to Take A Step Back before some goons run up on the stage trying to jump us.
"Aye, wtf." I say as they start hitting me. I ain't gone lie they had me in headlocks and threw some good punches.
Wifi came to help me by rocking the guy in his jaw.
"Ight, the show is cancelled since these mf can't act respectfully." Our manager says to everyone backstage. X runs back out kicking one of the guys who jumped me in the face as security tried to pull him away.
"Guys, I'm sorry but our management wants us to leave because is isn't safe anymore." X shouts into the microphone. They close the curtains and he ran back to me.
"You good?" I nod holding my nose. "I'm ready go back FL!" I laugh. He laughs with me tapping my back.
I walk to my dressing room & look into the mirror. My eye was pretty messed up. I sigh, walk to my chair & getting ready to leave.
"Stokeley." I heard from the other side of the door. "Kayla go away." I say acting like I agitated.
I really miss Kayla but I don't want to admit to it. "Talk to me please." She cries twisting the knob.
My heart ached, I tried to act tough but I couldn't my heart was torn.
I unlock the door taking a breath before I open it. She had on my hoodie, some sweatpants, and her hair was all over the place.
She still looked beautiful though & she always will.
I open my arms knowing that she wanted some affection. She looks at me before sprinting into my arms.
We stood there for what seemed like hours. I shed a few tears while she cried & apologized to me repeatedly. She choose to go to her house so we could talk.
KAYLA'S POV-
I walk Stokeley up to my room & lock the door. We sit in the dark just laying together. No words were said only faint breathing.
"I want us to work out." Stokeley says sniffling while turning the light on. I sit up nodding. "Me too." I smile making him smirk. "Explain to me why." He questions. "I don't know why." I gulp. "You do know why, you wouldn't have done it for no reason K." He says angrily. "Tell me." "The love for you was always there Stokes, I just didn't have it physically since we were miles away. I tried to get that physical love from someone else. It wasn't worth it." He nods his head waiting for me to continue.
"I watched how you got upset about me not finishing what we started that night at your house. I didn't want to wash my pain away with sex." I say truthfully.
"I wasn't upset." He laughs. "I was joking & trying to get you to show me love." I smile. "You forgive me?" He clicks his tongue.
"Nope." I smack my teeth. "Whyy." "Who is the people that jumped me?" I shrug. "I don't know." He looks at me suspiciously. "Are you lying again?" I shake my head. "I honestly don't know who jumped you. I got to your show at the end ."
He sighs. "If we do get back together it's going to be distant because I'm going back to Florida." "I'll go back with you!" I shout. "Deadass? You'll stay with me?." I start packing my clothes while Stokeley examines his eye. "They really got me." He says laughing & wiping his face.
