We had just rode up to Kayla's house. It was night time & every light inside the house was off. I got warm vibes from being back at her place, it was far from mine but I always still felt... close.
"She doesn't appear to be here." Jahseh says opening his door spaciously but not wide. "True, but just... come on." He nods getting out the car quietly.
"We literally have no idea of who or what is capable of." Wifi tells us still sitting in the car. "We know, & that's why you're staying in the car." I laugh getting out & walking along X.
When we were walking up to her door, I noticed a shift in her window blinds. There was an opening, like someone was looking out of them. I paid close attention but brushed it off by knocking on the door.
Silence. It was eerie silence though, like anticipated.
I knock again, looking back at the blinds that were now shut & closed.
The door handle shook & opened revealing Kayla. The street lights shown over her face showing half her face, it was relaxing seeing her again.
"H-H-Hey Kayla." I stuttered avoiding her eyes. "You have to leave, you have to go now!" She leaves out of the doorway & push me back down her porch steps. "W-Why?! what's going on you can tell m-" She put her finger against my lips. "I'm playing, I need yu to help me Stokes, this man has been hurting me. I need your help, please help me." She whispered quickly walking away.
"Leave with us , just come with me." Jahseh insists but she shakes her head
"I can't... he's watching, come back tomorrow, I'll be ready. You're not ready Stokeley." I go to speak again but she runs back into the house, looking back once more & shutting the door.
